That made him laugh. A raspy, genuinely amused sort of a sound. And he stood at ease, since he hadn't been instructed to sit or to move in any way. He watched the young man and was somewhat relieved to see the smile vanish. He wasn't really used to anyone treating him so pleasantly. Not that he had minded, but. It had been a little... unsettling.
