He was in a wonderful mood. He'd gotten in later than intended due to the rather long talk with his mother, which had been oddly easier with this one than the one from home ever was anymore, and by the time he'd made it home is good mood had returned and he'd settled right to bed.

Morning, on the other hand, had brought the flowers and he found himself looking out the window in curious fascination at them, mussed from sleep and somewhat bewildered.

Since when did snow bring flowers?

Seeing Isamu's almost shy smile brought one of his own to his lips. "I did see. Wind feeds fire."

"Do it again! Do it again and blow harder! I'm gonna make a really really big one this time."

[youngesthokage]

"Ah ah, while impressive, the back yard is not the place to do it. Maybe yo two should go get Otouto and drag him into the celebrations? He can show you the best practice area."

[itachi_san]

"Okay!" Minoru shouted, grabbing his brother's hand and running inside.

Itachi just laughed.

"Hopefully, that will get them to work together a little more. And fight a little less." he walked over to the Hokage, and took his hand as well.

He brought his hand to his lips and kissed it. "For a little while at the very least mm?"

[itachi_san]

Itachi smiled warmly.

"You know, there's quite a bit of you I've never really seen..." he hinted playfully. His black eyes took in all that they could, but even with sharingan, he had to imagine what was underneath. "I think, later, we should remedy that."

He blinked, then gave him a slightly heated look in turn. "Whatever my love wishes for his celebration."

"I hope you're not worried I won't like what I see..." he glanced at his partner playfully.

"Oh not at all. Did you think I'd let you change your mind -now-?"

[itachi_san]

Itachi laughed at how ridiculous the idea was. It was even more ridiculous than asking a pair of four-year-olds to describe what you look like. And that had the Hokage rolling on the floor.

He gave a wink. "But don't fault me if I stare... A little."

"And why would I fault you? We both know I'm gorgeous." There was definite amusement when he said -that-.

[itachi_san]

"The scary thought is I can picture both of our boys saying that one day..." He smirked. "They'd get that from you. Of course."

[youngesthokage]

"Oh, of course, because you have no vanity to speak of mm?"

[itachi_san]

"None whatsoever." he smiled. "But if you ever so much as think the words 'maternity kimono,' I will have to put these new eyes to the test... And this time, I can do it without losing my sight."

Not that it could possibly apply now. Far from it. But it had become a rather funny joke between them where vanity was concerned.

"Mmm but why not? You would have looked fetching..."

[itachi_san]

"I'm sure you could convince Isamu to hang on to you long enough to get a glimpse of yourself in one."

He flashed him a smirk. "If you like."

[itachi_san]

"Hey, now..." Itachi shook his head. "You're the one who likes to stare at yourself in strange clothes. Or even stranger body modification jutsu... I'm perfectly comfortable in just my plain old Akatsuki cloak."

[youngesthokage]

"What, you don't want to stare at me too now that you can love?" He leaned in, a tiny smirk on his lips.

[itachi_san]

"Perhaps I plan on being a little more... discreet... about it." he smirked back. "Unless you plan on giving me a show."

[youngesthokage]

"Mm anything you'd like. You just have to ask."

[itachi_san]

"... Show me everything." he smiled. "And then some."

Later, of course.

...Because Minoru was charging straight for them, shouting, "I'm sorry! I turned my head! I didn't mean ta' burn Sasuke's pants!"

He closed his eyes on a laugh, then sighed and turned to grab the incoming child, Isamu following at a slower pace, scowling.

"It seems private time has ended for the moment."

"I didn't mean to turn my head! I thought I saw a squirrel!"

"You have to stay focused while doing jutsu Minoru."

"He just got bored."
