[Open] AU post: Yep, another.
The trip had been extremely boring. Yes, it was important, diplomatic relations always were, but that didn't keep her from wanting to be home already. She'd been gone for weeks, half of that on this ship and others like it, and she was beyond restless.
She was a kunoichi, not some tag along passenger that could sit still for weeks on end. Even Shikamaru couldn't be that lazy. Unfortunately, her restless energy had nowhere to go, and while the brief stints on land to change ships were a relief, they just plain weren't good enough.
She wanted to spar. She wanted to practice something other than tree and water walking. She wanted to be done with diplomacy already. Thankfully the last ship change had been the last for this journey, and she planted herself on the railing of the ship, crouched and looking over the water.
Boats sucked.
(OOC: You're welcome to put this somewhere during the timeskip or to AU it off into the future somewhere, maybe years even, for Michi if you want. Either works for me. We'll say that your character was either already on or boarded the ship at the last stop. Have fun~)
