[OPEN] Weapons Exercise

Just because she was in a strange location didn't mean she was about to take a vacation... Especially not after being beaten so thoroughly by that Neji. The thought still was enough to freeze her blood, the slightest threads of panic starting to set in before her lip firms and she gathers her Chakra in her feet, leaping straight up into the air. For today's training, at least, she'd left the scroll leaning against one of the short wooden posts simulating a human body. Instead, a long katana shimmered in the late afternoon sunlight as she twists in midair, flipping over with a harsh kiai to split the log neatly in two, then turn, weaving her way through another weapon's form, twisting and pivoting as she fought enemies only she could see. Sweat dripped from her brow, the twin buns of her hair disheveled as she panted for breath, unwilling or unable to quit as she keeps pushing herself.

First that Sasuke, then Neji. She kept finding herself forced into situations where she couldn't fight at range. If she were ever going to advance, she needed to get past her current level. They were geniuses, but -- well, if Lee had proven anything, it was that hard work really could beat a genius.

The question would be if she could ever get to that point herself.

"Just a few minutes," she promises, taking another bite of rice as if to prove it. With that, she makes short work of the rice and drains the water glass, moving her dishes to the sink and refilling her glass for another long sip, just trying to relax, before finally padding her way toward the bathroom.

He had one knee braced on the edge of the tub when she came in, the other foot on the floor outside the tub as he leaned over it, fussing with something to do with the taps.

She just takes a moment to look at him, smile quirking at her lips in spite of herself as she moves to rinse herself off. "Is it ready yet?"

"It's just being fussy. The water didn't want to run at first." It was clear he'd already had his own rinse, and he looked over his shoulder at her before turning around to sit on the edge of the tub. "It's almost done."

She nods her comprehension and finishes rinsing herself, leaning in close to press her lips to his nose for a kiss. "I'll wait~"

His lips quirked at the gesture and he reached up to run his fingers down her cheek.

She just tilts her head at the gesture to press a longer, slow kiss to his lips before trying to move around to sit next to him, waiting for the tub to fill and letting her feet kick in the water.

He made a soft noise of appreciation, turning around so they were both facing the same direction and stroking his fingers up her spine.

She plants both hands on the edge of the tub and leans in to him, shivering at his touch. "This might be a stupid question, but... can I stay here?"

He blinked at her and canted his head. "Well, I did run the bath for you."

"You know what I mean." She just tilts her head and glances at him, tilting her head to press an open-mouthed kiss to his shoulder. "I mean, as a place to live."

He leaned enough to turn off the water and ran his fingers up the side of her neck. "You even considered going elsewhere?"

"Mmm... maybe for a second," she admits a little teasingly, running her hand along his arm to take his fingers and lightly kiss their tips. "But you need someone to keep you company, so I suppose I could do that." With that, she doesn't let go of his hand, but slips down into the water with a contented sigh.

He hummed, sliding down into the water after her, watching her reactions. "You really like baths don't you?"

Letting go of his hand, she lets her head rest back against the lip of the tub and just relaxes into the water with a nod. "I work with weapons. Hot water is the easiest way to make sure I don't lose flexibility in my muscles."

He reached over and ran his palm along her shoulder. "I can help with that too. I -can- give you a more thorough rubdown than earlier."

"You won't get too distracted?" She opens one eye and tilts her head enough to give him a grin, thoroughly content to stay right where she is. When's the last time she got a nice bath like this, anyway?

He made an amused noise. "I didn't before did I?" He slid around so he was in front of her and kneaded the fronts of her shoulders. "I -do- have self control."

She lets out a pleased hum and lets her shoulders fall back, though she keeps her eyes on his face. "And what if I get distracted~?"

"You're perfectly welcome to get distracted whenever you like." It was a murmur, low and throaty as he worked his hands down, skipping around her breasts with care.

She can't help but shiver when his hands go around her breasts like that; between his hands and the warmth of the water, her muscles ease beneath his touch. Letting her eyes fall almost-closed, she stays there against the tub and lets out a small hum. "I see~"

He leaned forward, breathing out against her skin. "I should hope so." His fingers brushed along the underside of her breasts, though it was entirely to knead the muscles there.

Shivering again, she lets her head fall back and her eyes close completely. "Or maybe I should just let you finish," she murmurs, though her voice is starting to get perhaps the tiniest bit breathy.

"Whatever you like Tenten." He murmured the words directly into her ear, hair brushing her cheek as he kneaded downward over her belly.

His voice in her ear makes her squirm, turning her head to brush her lips over his cheek without opening her eyes. "Wouldn't this be easier out of the tub?"
