It wasn't a bad sort of place. Lots of things to do and people to see. Plenty of freedom to dart over the rooftops and down the alleys--or out of the village and into the woods and rocky wild places beyond. Obito liked Michi no Sato.

He had stopped for lunch and was eating at a table outside the restaurant, watching people walk past. The food was good. The cold breeze was nice. Ah, yes. Years and years trapped in a cave with a crazy old man and a bunch of plant monsters--it had left him really able to appreciate the little things.

[ooc: here is an AU Obito in his twenties. Got through the time with Madara, and Rin's death, but didn't go completely evil after all of it...]

"Are you? Well, I'm a delicate subject, you know. You'll have to be gentle."

[smallstepstopower]

"I know how to be gentle Obito-kun." He drew his hand up and ran his other hand over the backs of his fingers. "I can be -very- delicate."

[mooneye]

"Hmph." Obito lifted his own free hand to trace a fingertip very lightly against the other man's arm, along the little bump of his wrist bone. "But what would you give me in return, for this examination?"

[smallstepstopower]

"That depends on what you -want-, doesn't it?" He turned his hand slightly, fingers not pausing, though it was clear he was paying close attention.

[mooneye]

His look was lazy and amused, but he still watched the other man intently. Oh, what did he want. "...Give me some time to think it over." He said, after a pause. "Then maybe we could make some kind of a deal, hm?"

[smallstepstopower]

He laughed and stepped in, holding the gaze of that single eye, his own sharp and calculating even as he practically cooed at him. "Of course Obito-kun. I -do- like deals."

[mooneye]

"As do I." His gaze didn't turn away. If anything, he looked eager, and curious to see where this would lead.

Deciding to see just how well the man would linger past tolerance into enjoyment of attention, he leaned in until the other could feel his breath on his cheek, then flicked his tongue out in another of those quick licks before retreating, watching him. "I await your ideas then."

[mooneye]

He did not flinch, nor did his smile fade. There was not much that this man or anyone could do that Madara hadn't already done. And Obito had no normal social or physical boundaries. He had come into adulthood in a cave full of monsters. Propriety had meant nothing there. So the little lick was unexpected, but not surprising to him. And a few moments after Orochimaru drew back, Obito reached and touched the tip of his finger to his throat and brushed it upward along his chin. Just a small, easy, fond sort of gesture.

"And I look forward to your skillful examination."

[smallstepstopower]

That action could easily have been taken as threatening... but he found it captivating instead, and his smile grew. "And I look forward to showing you just -how- skilled."

[mooneye]

"Hmph." He nodded. How interesting. He had't expected to meet anyone like this, here. The town was just one surprise after another.

He reached up and caught the hand near his throat. "Does that mean you must be on your way Obito-kun?"

[mooneye]

Obito let him catch it, curling and uncurling a finger still to brush his jawline. "I'm afraid so. I'll keep an eye out for you from now on though, hm? We ought to meet up and do something... fun. Deal or no."

[smallstepstopower]

He flicked his gaze over him and then back up to meet his gaze. "Until then Obito-kun."

Smiling slightly, he released his hold.

[mooneye]

"Until then." Obito smiled and withdrew his hand slowly, and took a few steps backwards before turning and continuing on his way.
