"Why?" the expression was a puzzled frown. "Isn't one scarf enough? I have color enough on my coat." which he still wore somehow, despite the much warmer weather. "..however, ah... well, you already did somehow gift me with much already..." and even though he was not quite certain what he would do with two scarves, he would still accept it.
...and then feel somewhat bad when neglecting one or the other. How does that work!?
