The "New" House

She stared up at her house in satisfaction. Yes, it was falling apart. Yes, it was huge. But, well, if there were different time points of her babies running around, she needed to be prepared didn't she? Why, she might end up with a huge collection of her children instead of just two, and she doubted either boy would be willing to just share their room with some other them.

So. Big house.

Her eyes followed a shingle as a hard breeze sent it careening to the ground.

That needs some work.

Oh well, at least she already had some helpers!

"Oi Neji! Cut the kid some slack!" She stood between him and the little one. She pushed Neji further away from Itachi, whispering:"Don't frighten the kid! Are you crazy dattebane?!" She stared:"We will deal with older one." She quickly did a seal for kage bunshin and nodded at Neji.

She returned to Itachi:"I'll stay with him. You go, dattebane."

Itachi scowled up at her at once and made to dodge around her. "You guys don't have anything to be afraid of!"

He gives the clone a nod, trusting Naruto to be able to restrain the child. Really, if both the real one and the clone were stuck dealing with him, that would be fine, too. Neji wouldn't let this distraction slow him down. Focusing his Chakra in his feet, he breaks into a sprint.

The clone got in the way of little Itachi:"Sorry buddy I can't let you go, dattebane. We should find your mom and help her."

The real one was already outside, waiting for Neji, hiding behind the fence so that Itachi doesn't see him.

He scowled up at her and lunged at her. "Just stop it! I wasn't trying to make bad things happen to him okay?"

Neji doesn't bother to spare an extra glance for Naruto in the bushes; his Byakugan had already spotted her as he dashes past, fully expecting her to either fall into step or fall behind. "I do not intend to go in and attack as the first thing. If possible, allow me to speak with her first."

Bunshin nodded:"I know. They will only talk dattebane. And the talk shouldn't include both me and you."

Real one easily fell in step with Neji:"Then you do the talking, dattebane. It was never my strong point."

Itachi stared up at her as she stopped him from making contact, crossing his arms. "Then why're you so scared of me coming if -you're- going?"

There was a beat of pause before he spun to head for the roof, raising his voice. "Oi! Otouto!"

He just grunts in agreement. No wonder he hadn't spotten Tenten before; the place she appeared to be staying it wasn't near this house at all. He'd been careless.

But he still has to mention, indignation buried beneath the determination to just get there, "But I do not have a crush on her."

Naruto couldn't help but laugh at that. "Well I had to make a diversion from me. You looked very uncomfortable, dattebane." She decided to tease him a bit:"As if he stroke the nerve." Chuckle.

Oh he is not in the mood for teasing right now, especially not where his teammate is concerned. "Is that what people say about us when we train together?" he continues with a scowl, not needing to look at the other to see her expression. "And I assure you, he most certainly did no such thing!"

She rolled her eyes:"Oi, we don't really train together. You train with bushy-brows and Gai-sensei. I train with Sakura-chan mostly, or alone, or with the frogs, dattebane."

She laughed:"Good god, don't be such a prude. I was joking, dattebane."

"Not us. Tenten and I. I haven't seen you for three years!" Well. Not her per se, but the point still stands.

And he doesn't bother to justify the 'prude' comment with an answer.

"Oh you two!" Yes, she is... a bit slow. "Well, you two seem to have lots of fun when training and such, and you seem to get along well and understand each other, dattebane."

He growls, a low sound deep in his throat as he continues to sprint forward. "We are teammates. Do people say such about Lee and--"

A pause as he focuses his Byakugan, lips curving into another scowl. "Sasuke is coming."

Naruto frowned and went rigid the next second, eyes glazed a bit. The bunshin.

"My kage bunshin dispelled itself. Itachi told Sasuke we are going to see the older one dattebane!"

"What?!" Another growl. That boy... "There won't be any talking if Sasuke is involved," he mutters, the bulk of his attention focused behind him now, even as his eyes stay forward.

She frowned. She didn't like this idea but-- "...maybe I should stay behind and hold him back, dattebane." She glanced at Neji. "I could try to buy you some time for you to talk to Tenten." She didn't like this plan though. It's the older Itachi they are talking about.

He blinked at being called, surprised at the sudden appearance of Itachi before calming himself, "Yeah?"

She flailed around, trying to grab him and drag Itachi away from window:"But I am not going with them dattebane! I am still here!"

"You're a Kage Bunshin, the boy Naruto showed me how to do that." Itachi peered up at his brother. "Neji-san is going to go pick a fight with older me's girlfriend and Naruto-nee is helping him."

"... Older you. He's here?" Sasuke was speaking quietly, staring and tense. No. He...

Without waiting for a response, Sasuke jumped off of the roof, landed hard on the ground and took off as quickly as he could after the two.

Crap. Kid knows kage bunshin at this age!? Itachi really is something.

She shouted through the window:"Sasuke-teme, come and he--"

Naruto stared at the dust that picked up after him. There will be trouble. She muttered:"Someone will end up hurt." She wants so bad to go 'poof' but she can't leave Itachi alone.

He hummed and looked to her. "You should probably stop him. I doubt he's gonna stand aside and wait."

She clenched her teeth, glaring at nothing in particular.

"GODDAMMIT!" she cursed loudly, before dispelling the jutsu, sending everything she found out to main body.
