You deserved to die.

The piece of paper was snatched out of the air before it could hit his face, leaving him pausing and frowning down at it with a sudden chill. Where could it have come from? A moment as he formed the seals to activate his Byakugan, but -- no one to be seen who could have tossed this at him. Troubling, somewhat cruel, but seeing as how he could see other papers drifting to the ground before other people...? Hardly something to be concerned about, lest this were another seal of some kind.

Still, he couldn't let it fall, running a thumb over it before letting it slip into his pocket. It hadn't been much more than another few steps when a second paper fell, snatched before it could land on his shoulder.

"You're so cute like that." Ino turned her head and brushed a kiss against the corner of Neji's lips, smiling. "I intend to keep you."

"I'm not exactly going to change my mind, either."

"I am hardly--" he started to protest, but fell silent at the almost-kiss. Clearing his throat, he stared toward a bare patch of wall, trying to regain his focus. "How would this work...?"

"Well I'm not moving out of here just yet, but I don't see where it's complicated...?"

That got Sasuke's attention and a sigh, and she bowed her head just a little before she spoke softly, "I still have to talk to my father about this."

"As do I, assuming this is to be something that we would be perfectly up-front about." If anything, his cheeks only colored further as he kept his eyes firmly on the wall. "In addition, there is the matter of time together, how it is divided, what respective statuses would be..."

Ino rolled her eyes at them both and hugged them closer. "First. If your parents gave a flying hell about their kids being in threesomes I'm sure someone would have jumped on Itachi-sama by now. Second, if they're planning on jumping on Neji then I doubt Mikoto will stand for it, right? Last I checked, she liked him. Did that change? As for time... Well, you'll have to see me and I doubt you'll have any issues seeing each other. Now statuses... Neji, you're my boyfriend, Sasuke, you're my girlfriend. Congratulations."

Sasuke just nodded, finally hesitantly reaching an arm up to pull herself closer to Neji and Ino with closed eyes, "... Mm."

There was no way it was as easy as Ino made it sound but... She wanted this. And she was used to taking the hard road anyway.

This was far too easy as he looked to both of them. But if it would make them both happy, if neither of them objected... he certainly couldn't.

But those words, boyfriend, girlfriend. He still didn't like the sound of them, too casual. That was something for another discussion, though, something to be dealt with another time, once they had discerned what exactly it was they were doing, here. "Then... I shall do my best to ensure this remains something that you both want," he murmured finally, glancing to them both.

If you want something less casual you had to ask for it Neji, sorry. You haven't been intimate to get pegged a lover for her. "I really doubt you have to worry about that. You're a good guy Neji."

Sasuke only nodded in agreement, although that made her feel just a slight bit anxious about how she was seen by them. She didn't let it get to her right then and there, but it'd be something to think about later.

"... What do we do with this now?"

"That would seem to be the most pressing question." Neji exhaled quietly and let one hand come up to just gently brush through one of Sasuke's bangs, his other turning to brush his knuckles over Ino's cheek in a barely-there gesture. What was permitted, and with whom?

Ino looked from one to the other and huffed a soft breath. "You're both really worried, aren't you?"

"... Not worried..."

Another sigh left her and she glanced away, more than a little embarrassed when she admitted, "Don't know what to do, now."

He only could hum quietly in agreement, a hand brushing against the small of Sasuke's back before he took a step backwards. "I do not wish to be in the way, should the two of you choose to do-- anything."

Maybe now he's wishing he hadn't been quite so hostile to Tenten. Her advice right now would be sorely appreciated.

"That doesn't mean we can't all do something Neji. We don't have to all be together at once, and we don't all have to be separate pairs, right?" She paused a beat, smile turning a tad wry. "Especially since I bet you two are a bit more involved than anything I've done."

Sasuke stiffened, but the fact that she had probably spoke miles about Ino's guess being on mark. It was only once but...

Neji stiffened as well, clearing his throat and glancing away. "In any case, I..." An exhale as he finally left what shreds of propriety he could behind. "I am willing to do as you both think best. In any situation of this nature."

Ino sighed, realizing the poor boy didn't quite grasp the mechanics here, and she leaned up, kissing him this time.

She blinked at Ino when she did that before sighing, leaning in and leaning on Ino while she kissed Neji. Part of her felt a little possessive and wanted to pull her off of him but... She'd get over it.

He froze, unsure whether to return the kiss, incredibly aware of Sasuke's presence. This was improper, but... He raised a hand, just gently cupping Ino's cheek as he returned the kiss for a brief moment before pulling back, glancing to Sasuke again in unspoken question.

"Now." She looked to Sasuke too. "Are you okay with that? I know you're okay with me, but are you okay with us all being an us?"

"I came to Neji with this. I'm fine," She nodded, determined and telling herself that it could work.

Even if she was still kind of jealous.

"Sasuke..." His eyes flicked over her face, measuring her body language and what little he could read, before he reached up with his other hand to brush his fingers over her cheek as well, at a loss as to how to properly communicate his feelings.

Ino gave the other girl a wry smile. "I'll just have to figure out how to make you happy then huh?"
