Floods

Once out of the grip of winter, had you all perhaps gotten the idea that the weather had drifted toward the better after the last few weeks of sunny skies and warming temperatures?

Unfortunately for you all, this didn't seem to be the case at all. No, the rains had started back up, just warm enough to not drop the temperature, but incredibly persistent, making it so that there was no such thing as being dry outside, no matter how hard one tried.

There was also a distressing trend of water flowing through the village, making the surplus of raised porches in the village far more understandable as there was a consistent level of at least four inches of water after the first day. The reason? The village, while at a slant, was also at the bottom of some very snow laden mountains that were melting under the onslaught of rain.

Enjoy the weather everyone. At least umbrellas and weather appropriate clothing seemed to be a thing after the last caravan.
