She let him scoop her up again, having long since learned that protesting was as futile as it was annoying, and instead only wrapped her arms around his neck and nestled in close, a contented sigh falling from her lips as she nuzzled gently against his neck.

The clothes would be gathered and washed tomorrow, and the kitchen/dining area would be cleaned spotless... but for now?
