They both had for one unshakable resolve and for two quite unsettling destructive power if they so chose to go for it. If they were together against any person or group? Easy to tell who would lose.

Their dessert was brought out in what he might state as record time, and was good for cooling his brain. "Mm~ it's nice and refreshing." he commented, not actually having had ice cream since a good while.

She only nodded in response, pressing her spoon lightly against the ice cream and letting it melt slightly before taking a bite. "Perhaps after this... would it be too much to ask that we attempt to find a ryoukan or other place where I might be able to bathe privately sometime tonight? For now, resting alone would be sufficient, but after our journey..."

"We can, love~ We also can save the shopping for tomorrow." she would, after all, deserve to rest after their long trip.

He waved the waiter over again to ask for such accommodation, and nodded as he listened to the directions he was given. "There's one~" he gave a nod as the waiter went to get the bill ready. "It's in the far edge of the village, had a really nice view of the sea too~"

"Excellent, thank you." Truth be told, she had never much been one for shopping, let alone the kind of browsing that such things entailed. Far easier to know what one was looking for and purchase it immediately.

"Should you wish to go out and explore, I will not grudge you," she added, glancing to him again. "Resting would be welcomed, however."

"Whatever we do, we'll do it together~" he gave her a loving, warm smile, snatching the addition. "If you're done here, we can go to the inn~" he got up from his seat, taking out enough ryo to pay for their meal.

"Thank you, Sasuke." A smile then as she reached across the table to brush her fingers against the back of his hand before finishing the last of her ice cream and tea. She didn't even bother to protest the ryo anymore; their finances were practically pooled at this point. "Truly."

She was ever-grateful to all he did... and he never would get tired of hearing it. Their next stop was the inn, to which they were welcomed warmly. Sasuke let Neji get their room first as he took care of paying and signing the guestbook.

Once he joined her in the room, he went to give her cheek a nuzzle before going to open the window. That view of the sea was quite breathtaking. "Hm~ Isn't that sea air nice?"

"Mm." She hummed softly in acknowledgement, taking a seat on the edge of the bed and glancing toward the window. One hand rested gently atop her belly as she gazed out, expression slowly easing into one of utter peace. "This is wonderful, Sasuke. As everything so far has been."

He spent a short while gazing outside before joining her at the bed, resting his chin on her shoulder. Usually he could gauge if she was in the mood to be smothered under cuddles or not, and he was trying to avoid magnifying her mood shifts, which he knew she sometimes could not help.

"You're radiating light like the sun, love~"

She relaxed minutely at his touch -- cuddling would certainly be welcome right now. "Do not be foolish," she chided quietly, though her cheeks flushed a pleased pink. "I look as I always do."

The smell of the sea was relaxing though, and with Sasuke's warmth so close, she could think of nowhere she'd rather be.

He nuzzled into her hair and murmured, as an answer to her looking as she always does "..then why don't you have little planets gravitating around you by now?" he asked, furthering his point that she was just like a sun.

He then wrapped his arms loosely around her and went on delivering light nuzzles and ghostly kisses. He felt like the luckiest man alive, to have such a joyful life, with a woman that loved him, him lovinga woman, and an incoming child.

"Because that would be impossible and rather troublesome," she murmured in response, lips staying curved into that smile as she rested against him, eyes falling shut beneath his attention as she tilted her head to enable him easier access to her skin.

"Impossible and troublesome?" he echoed, between nuzzling and tiny loving nips upon that so-soft skin. "You mean cool and awesome, right?" he purred. "I'd like to be a miniature solar system~"

"Then I shall leave such business to you." A small laugh as she turned on the bed, wrapping her arms around him and nestling in against his neck. "Though it may be rather difficult to embrace a solar system, no?"

He chuckled lightly. "How hard can it be? You're doing it right now, love~"

Oh he loved her... He loved everything about her. Her laugh, her skin, her smell... the way she could keep in leash too when she had to.

"There you are, being foolish again," she chided softly, but laughed regardless, brushing lips against his throat. "Truly Sasuke, you are beyond imagine. To think that a solar system would be considered a compliment..."

"Isn't it, though?" he mused, giving out a light purr at that ever-so-light touch of lips. As long as he could make her smile and laugh, he would consider apples as oranges if he had to.
