For once, one of the very rarest of moments had occurred. Mito was not the type to get lost or not know the layout of the village between Konoha and Uzushio as if it were the back of her very hand. This time, however, she'd ended up on the outskirts of Michi no Sato with confusion apparent on her face, not sure how she'd taken a wrong turn. Or, even, what this village was.
Tapping the side of her chin with her forefinger she quietly investigated the area right outside of the little village, not sure what to make of it or even if it were friendly. Even with the foundation of the ninja villages, tensions were still high if one were not careful. Steps were light and quiet as she moved from cover to cover, even if her cover was rather easily blown by the fairly ornate kimono and crimson colored hair.
If anything, the woman may have appeared almost skittish to the casual onlooker, or as if a spy of some shape or form.

Only to see a child.
Blinking a few times she caught herself, composure returning and a smile replacing her frown.
"Ah. How long have you been following me, young one?"

However, she merely looked him over, something tugging at her about something feeling familiar to her. That damn fox was being loud again, having yet to give her any rest since the sealing.
"Mmn, you must have quite a future ahead of you to be able to follow me for that long of a time. What is your name?"

"Who is your mother? I cannot say I have ever seen a blond Uzumaki, before."

Her expression shifted to a calm smile as she kneeled down, holding out her arms. "Come with me, then. I can teach you all about the clan and just why we're so special."

A frown crossed her lips for a moment, listening to a rather agitating voice in the back of her head cause quite a fuss. "... Tell me, child, do you know of a demonic fox?"

Hmm... How does Mito feel about Uchihas?
The path that led through the western side of the village was dotted with only a few dwellings, but one clearly stood out above the rest. It was a massive house, three stories tall. And there was someone sitting on the bench on the front porch.
It was a thin man, dreadfully so, with long black hair and red eyes. No mistaking a sharingan... This was an Uchiha! And to those eyes, even as deteriorated as they were, the beast within Mito stood out like a beacon. Itachi stood, painfully it seemed, and took a few hesitant steps toward her. He knew the fox's chakra, but he didn't recognize her's. It was... curious.

"If you're trying to play hide and seek, you're gonna be losing the game for sure, lady." he stated with a frown, having gotten at least within hearing distance, dark eyes upon her.
