Lights of Night
Things were fairly calm around Michi at this time of year, with the weather cooling quietly and the trees starting to change colors, but there was still one stand out thing that people might start to notice, and would draw people out of their homes in the late evening.
Sometime after dark, usually within an hour, maybe two, a wash of vivid greens and purples washed over the sky, backlit in a shimmering pattern that seemed to lean more toward the west. It wasn't quite a rainbow, but the colors were vivid, and seemed to give off little light of their own.
The locals, if asked, would say that it was finally truly autumn in Michi no Sato, now that the lights had started.
