He hadn't expected Shisui to fall against him like that, but all the same he managed to catch the man against his chest, letting his arms wrap briefly around him - not only to make sure he stayed upright, but to find a little comfort in what had been a pretty horrific experience, mostly for Shisui. Shisui simply smelled of burnt, and the thought that he could have lost his friend in the accident was - difficult at best.
His eyebrow arched when Shisui asked him to repeat what he'd said, aware by then of his ear. Hopefully it wouldn't be anything permanent. The blast must have been strong to inflict such an injury though. He was about to ask again, leaning back away from the man in time to hear that and-- "... Oh dear, the worst of our problems. What are we going to do." He muttered, rolling his eyes and taking in a deep breath.
"It's bleeding. It doesn't look too bad... but you're lip reading aren't you?" He asked, looking up again into his eyes and fixing him with a stare in the hopes he wouldn't lie but-- Shisui's attention had shifted. Right. The plane was 'far more important' than Shisui's very life.
