It wasn't a bad sort of place. Lots of things to do and people to see. Plenty of freedom to dart over the rooftops and down the alleys--or out of the village and into the woods and rocky wild places beyond. Obito liked Michi no Sato.

He had stopped for lunch and was eating at a table outside the restaurant, watching people walk past. The food was good. The cold breeze was nice. Ah, yes. Years and years trapped in a cave with a crazy old man and a bunch of plant monsters--it had left him really able to appreciate the little things.

[ooc: here is an AU Obito in his twenties. Got through the time with Madara, and Rin's death, but didn't go completely evil after all of it...]

"Hmmm, you -do- know how to flatter." He looked thoughtful. "You're much more interesting than I thought you might be."

[mooneye]

"You have no idea." He laughed. "But thank you."

[smallstepstopower]

"Well, if I have no idea, then clearly it's your place to give it to me, isn't it?"

[mooneye]

"Gladly. Though of course I can't share all my secrets, hm? I wouldn't want to lose my air of mystique."

[smallstepstopower]

He laughed and offered him his hand. "Mmm and I wouldn't want that. But, I've no doubt you have quite a lot to share."

[mooneye]

That got a slow, playful smile. And he took the hand, wrapping his own around it, liking the feel of skin-to-skin. "Of course I do. And you, too. I look forward to us learning more about one another."

He drew the smaller man's fingers to his mouth and with an impish smile gave them a kiss, tongue flicking out briefly before he turned to tug him further into the village. "Surely not just about one another."

That made him go still for a moment, grinning. Oh, now this was interesting. "Oh?" he asked, following.

"Of course. Limiting our options would be -boring-, don't you think?"

[mooneye]

"What else shall we explore, then?"

[smallstepstopower]

"Whatever should catch our attention, of course. There's a whole world here." He flashed a little smirk. "Or are you not one for learning?"

[mooneye]

"I learn as I need to." He shrugged, smirking back at him. "But I do like to have a good time. And this place has potential for that."

[smallstepstopower]

"Of course. One can learn and enjoy themselves at once, after all Obito-kun."

[mooneye]

"Let's, then." He glanced toward the city. "Did you have anything special in mind?"

[smallstepstopower]

"No. I doubt you'd let me examine you so -soon-." He gave him a flirtatious look. "Would you?"

[mooneye]

He turned to Orochimaru and fluttered the lashes of the one eye. "Examine, hmm?"

[smallstepstopower]

"Of course." He turned in place so he was walking backwards and tossed his head to send his hair back behind his shoulder. "I'm very -good- at examinations."

[mooneye]

"Are you? Well, I'm a delicate subject, you know. You'll have to be gentle."

[smallstepstopower]

"I know how to be gentle Obito-kun." He drew his hand up and ran his other hand over the backs of his fingers. "I can be -very- delicate."

[mooneye]

"Hmph." Obito lifted his own free hand to trace a fingertip very lightly against the other man's arm, along the little bump of his wrist bone. "But what would you give me in return, for this examination?"

[smallstepstopower]

"That depends on what you -want-, doesn't it?" He turned his hand slightly, fingers not pausing, though it was clear he was paying close attention.

[mooneye]

His look was lazy and amused, but he still watched the other man intently. Oh, what did he want. "...Give me some time to think it over." He said, after a pause. "Then maybe we could make some kind of a deal, hm?"

[smallstepstopower]

He laughed and stepped in, holding the gaze of that single eye, his own sharp and calculating even as he practically cooed at him. "Of course Obito-kun. I -do- like deals."

[mooneye]

"As do I." His gaze didn't turn away. If anything, he looked eager, and curious to see where this would lead.

[smallstepstopower]

Deciding to see just how well the man would linger past tolerance into enjoyment of attention, he leaned in until the other could feel his breath on his cheek, then flicked his tongue out in another of those quick licks before retreating, watching him. "I await your ideas then."
