Of oddly misplaced caves | Event: Welcome

When Naruto stepped out of the cave where he was training his nine tails power, he didn't expect to see this.

He expected waterfall, Gai-sensei and Yamato-taichou, not... not this village. It was village, right?
As curious as cat, he walked in the village, looking around at stores, houses and all the interesting places. No weapon store though. Weird. Maybe it wasn't shinobi village?

Wait- how did he ended up here!?

With a sigh, he sat down on the bench under a tree, with long look on his face. In just what kind of trouble he got into now?

He chuckled nervously, scratching back of the head:"Of course she does. Your mom is awesome."

The reaction got a tiny frown, and he tilted his head to the side, then decided not to press. Well, not much. "She's not got -weird- about you again has she? I catch her muttering sometimes..."

He shook his head:"Don't worry about your mom. She is amazing person, dattebayo." He got up from the bench.

He frowned and then sighed, finding no fault with -that- statement. "So... can you teach me anything?"

Teach him? Hmm... he didn't know what he could teach him. "Did you... ever practice climbing tree without your hands?" He grinned:"That's the exercise you use when you want to practice chakra control."

He blinked at him. "...I've been able to do that since a week into being a genin."

[orange_dattebayo]

"Oh... um how about water?" Dammit! He knew nothing that he can teach Itachi.

[stillpure]

"Two weeks." He looked at him, expectant and patient.

[orange_dattebayo]

He scratched his chin:"Okay... um... how about kage bunshin?"

[stillpure]

He bit his lower lip. "I could try."

[orange_dattebayo]

He grinned and clapped his hands:"The signs for it are: serpent, tiger, ram." He did them, making a shadow clone appear next to him. "Concentrate your chakra, and try it."

[stillpure]

He watched him with utter focus, dark eyes intent before he carefully moved through the motions, looking to him for confirmation. Nothing actually happened. "How much chakra?"

He rubbed back of his head:"Plenty... it's a really hard technique. Try molding chakra before trying again."

[stillpure]

He nodded and tried again... getting a rather sickly looking clone that poofed out of existence the second he turned to look at it. "...more?"

[orange_dattebayo]

He grinned:"Yep. Just a little bit more. But be careful not to use up all of your chakra!" he warned.

[stillpure]

He nodded and tried again, and while he got a clone that lasted for more than a few seconds, which made him smile... he promptly fainted.

"Oi!" He caught Itachi as he fell. He even told him to watch out not to use up all of the chakra. He muttered:"This is new meaning to 'either do it or die trying'..."

He moved towards the bench, placing him to lie down and sitting next to him.

Clearly the various things he'd been doing had used up his chakra something fierce as the kid, once he stirred to something more like sleep, just curled up and stayed that way for a good long while.

And Naruto couldn't just bring himself to leave him here all alone. He's an eight year old! So... he sat there next to him.

That got him used as a pillow, in the end, and when the boy finally stirred he blinked up at him in pure confusion.

He smiled down at him:"Hey there. Had a good nap?"

[stillpure]

He flushed at once. "Ah... I passed out?"

[orange_dattebayo]

He sighed and nodded:"Yes, you did. Even after I warned you not to use all of the chakra," he poked Itachi's nose.

He promptly wrinkled up his face. "I got it though!"

He grinned:"Yes. Yes you did. Good job!"
