He had thought, with the halt of the lightening, that perhaps that meant the weather would be clearing. Instead, he was assaulted with the news that not only was the weather about to get worse, but that inches of ice were to be expected any time now.

Thus, it was understandable that he'd rushed his provisions so he could take multiple trips and make sure he didn't miss anything. It was on his last pass that his luck ran out, and he stared mournfully upward as he pulled his water proof cloak tighter around himself and his hat lower on his head.

Could winter not be finished already?

He inclined his head slightly. "Now again."

"Right! Now that I know how it's done.." he formed a seal, gathering chakra in order to try again. Once this was done, he took a deep breath and shifted his previous method to that which had been suggested.

Focus one the right foot... then the left. Right... left... This was easier, and he didn't even feel that much drain. How many steps had he taken? "So... that was all there was to it? No wonder people can do that all day!" he was starting to wonder if he had to wait for his chakra pool to grow.

He deliberately moved away a decent amount. "Now come here."

He grinned and hastily stepped forward, hurrying. "See? i can do it!" he even jumped in place exuberantly.

"Very good... Then you can try the next stage. Fill a bath and walk on top of the water without falling in. There is a difference to the method. I'll leave you to try to figure it out."

"Right! I'll do it too!" he declared. "Byebye Orochimaru-sensei!" and he rushed off...presumably to try to do just that exercise. This time he was going to train really hard!
