[OPEN] Weapons Exercise

Just because she was in a strange location didn't mean she was about to take a vacation... Especially not after being beaten so thoroughly by that Neji. The thought still was enough to freeze her blood, the slightest threads of panic starting to set in before her lip firms and she gathers her Chakra in her feet, leaping straight up into the air. For today's training, at least, she'd left the scroll leaning against one of the short wooden posts simulating a human body. Instead, a long katana shimmered in the late afternoon sunlight as she twists in midair, flipping over with a harsh kiai to split the log neatly in two, then turn, weaving her way through another weapon's form, twisting and pivoting as she fought enemies only she could see. Sweat dripped from her brow, the twin buns of her hair disheveled as she panted for breath, unwilling or unable to quit as she keeps pushing herself.

First that Sasuke, then Neji. She kept finding herself forced into situations where she couldn't fight at range. If she were ever going to advance, she needed to get past her current level. They were geniuses, but -- well, if Lee had proven anything, it was that hard work really could beat a genius.

The question would be if she could ever get to that point herself.

He followed her foot, not fighting the pull. "Why, the compliment."

She blinks for a moment, then laughs again, drawing her knee up to her chest and tilting her head. "If you say so, Itachi-sama."

He moved so he was leaning against her leg. "Of course I do Tenten."

[bunsofsteel]

Shifting up a little higher, she extends her leg, resting her weight back against the tub as she lets her knee touch her shoulder, foot pointing straight up in the air. "I guess the massage worked," she murmurs, looking at her own leg appraisingly.

Well, what could he do but look at her leg to... and lean forward to nuzzle it. "Well, then I am happy to have been of service."

"Mm." She lowers her leg slowly back down into the water, squirming at the nuzzle, before reaching to take his chin and try to pull him up.

He let himself be tugged, watching her through his lashes as he hummed an inquiry at her.

She just quirks an eyebrow and leans down, giving him another soft kiss. "Thank you, Itachi-sama."

"You're more than welcome Tenten." It was a low murmur and he smiled at her.

[bunsofsteel]

She huffs a quiet laugh and threads her fingers through his hair. "You're amazing."

[youngesthokage]

He blinked, then leaned in to kiss her lips lightly. "You're most generous to say so."

[bunsofsteel]

"Mm, maybe." She returns the kiss, then moves back to relax into the water. "But it doesn't make it any less true."

He ran his fingers along her cheek with a hum. "As you say."

"I do." Leaning in, she wraps her arms around his neck again and nuzzles her lips against his pulse point. "Tomorrow, you'll train with me, right?"

"Of course." It was a murmur as he tilted his head to bare his neck to her.

[bunsofsteel]

She smiles against his flesh and gently runs her lips up and down the sensitive skin, just lightly giving him a nip below his ear. "I don't want to get up really early, though."

"Well, then I'll have to keep that in mind." He leaned into her mouth with a pleased hum.

[bunsofsteel]

"Can we go somewhere to get breakfast, maybe?" She continues running her lips along his neck, every now and then letting her tongue flick out for a lick.

He tilted his head to bare his throat fully to her. "If you like."

[bunsofsteel]

"And what do you like, hm?" She takes the invitation to trail her teeth over to the hollow of his throat, pressing a kiss there.

[youngesthokage]

"Hmmm I like lots of things. At the moment I think I might like what you like." He made a soft noise in answer to her action.

[bunsofsteel]

Amused, she trails her lips over to pay attention to the other side of his neck, too, before raising her lips to his ear. "So you like yourself, then, huh?"

[youngesthokage]

He blinked, then made a soft noise of amusement. "I would rather like you."

[bunsofsteel]

She laughs quietly and tucks her head into his shoulder again, trying to hide her pleased flush. "I guess that could be arranged."

"Good of you." He turned his head and kissed her jaw.
