She'd only walked out of her rooms and ended up in some strange village. It was most decidedly not the home of the Kazekage, where she had been just two seconds before.

Temari was already tired. She'd just spent time watching over Kankurou after he'd been poisoned and then she'd gone to retrieve Gaara and bring him back to Sunagakure. She just wanted to sleep. Surely the fates weren't that cruel, where they? At least she had her tessen with her.

With an annoyed sigh, she started walking into the village proper, determined to find out what was going on and how she could go the hell home!

"Riiiiiight." She took a deep breath, looked around, and then let her eyes land on the obviously upset boy-Sakura. "So, this place is some freaky land where there are...what? Alternates of people I know?" She grinned. "Is there a girl Shikamaru? Because that would be too fun."

Then, she thought of where she'd just left. "Oh, yeah, you seen my brothers anywhere around here?"

"I actually have yet to see any Shikamaru." He paused to think about this. "Only female Naruto, she's gone home I think, a couple female Sasukes, a girl Itachi, and apparently me. Everyone else is the gender I'm used to. As for your brothers... I've spotted two versions of Gaara, though neither stayed long, and no Kankurou at all."

She sighed. So, she was stuck here, without either of her brothers, and a bunch of gender switched Konoha nin. "Okay, no way to get home actively, have I got that right? Wonderful... You know, your team kinda ruined my retirement."

"Retirement? Bit young for that aren't you?" He couldn't help but flash her a playful little smirk. "You must age really well."

"Weeeeeell, when your baby brother is the Kazekage, you should be able to do what you want, right? I left Gaara with Kankurou and just wanted to relax for a bit." She sighed as she looked around. "So, what's there to do in this place?"

"That depends. Are you looking for mission do, free do, or spending money do?"

"All of the above?" she said with an amused smile.

"Missions are something to talk to Mikoto-san or Itachi-sama about. Itachi-sama has more progress for not specialized ones than Mikoto-san though. Free do is easy enough, just grab someone and go around, usually you'll find something, and spending do, well, caravans came through recently and I hear there's a nice onsen."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa... Slow down there, pinkie! Itachi-sama? Who's that? Who's this Mikoto-san? New here, remember? And it's not like I ever knew all the Konoha nin anyway."

He rubbed his temples. "Don't call me that. Itachi-sama is the only active resident Kage, he was Hokage in his timeline and has pretty much taken charge of the vilage here. Mikoto-san is Sasuke's mother and was dead before arriving here."

"You did not say anything about the dead coming back to life. Multiples, gender switching.... Yeah, I can handle that. A Hokage that's not that boozing, big-boobed medic or that old dude, fine. Dead people not dead. Yeah. Not dealing to well with that, Pinkie."

"...Well I did ask if you had any questions."

"That is something you should have put into your opening speech, Sakumo." She took a deep breath. "Need tea. Everything is better with tea."

"I'll blame being called Sakura right off for the confusion." His tone was dry, and he gestured fluidly. "This way then."

She glared at him. "You are Sakura, kinda! Can't blame me for being confused since I'm used to pink hair belonging to that girl!" Temari then followed after him, the promise of tea beating out her pride in this one instance!

He twitched and looked over at her. "We may be the same person on a technicality, but my name is Sakumo, and I'm a guy. I didn't think it was that hard to tell at a glance. Still, not every pink haired person in all the of the elemental nations is her, I'm sure."

"Yeah, you're probably right, but she—and you now—are the only people I've met with that colour hair." She fell into step with the boy easily, her tessen still a reassuring weight across her back. "Are you a medic too, then?"

"I am. I'm the best male medic in Konoha, definitely." He paused and hummed. "If that holds true for Michi is in debate."

"Oh, hm, I never thought about taking medical training, to be honest. It wasn't really recommended by Baki-sensei." She frowned. "However, with what happened with Kankurou and Gaara, I'm starting to think he was wrong about that. Not sure who I'd learn it from though."

He sighed softly, then gave her a wry smile. "I could show you some hings, if you wanted."

"Well, you don't have to be so enthusiastic, Sakumo-kun," she said. "I mean, I guess it's not terribly important. I just wished that I'd been able to heal my own brother when he was poisoned by Sasori."

"Wait wait, you want to be able to tackle someone like Sasori of the Red Sand? In poisons? That'll take more than some lessons, that'll take years."

"I've got that time right now, don't I? Unless you weren't serious."

"You may have the time, but that doesn't mean I do. I have a group of very injury prone people I'm the soul trusted medic for. most of whom are Uchiha and Uzumaki."

"Really? They all live together? That must make for interesting conversation, since last I heard all the Uchiha were dead or missing nin from Konoha. Besides, you teach me, and I can help you, yeah?"
