Intro: Stuck with you

She had spent most of the morning exploring the strange town she'd woken up in, highly disoriented as to how she'd even gotten here when she'd gone to sleep, and a rather light one at that, barely a few minutes ago in one of the medic tents of the war zone. In essence, she was on edge, confused, and had been scouting out where she was for the better part of an hour.

Nobody here knew anything about any war.

Nobody here understood what she was asking the questions for and rather looked like they wanted to pat her on the head. In essence, the epitome of a situation that was designed to leave her staggering as she tried to understand the situation.

She blamed this for the fact that the chakra, refined unlike that of the villagers, didn't catch her attention until she'd already passed the other figure by. Unfortunately, by then something else had kicked in and it was a chain that drew her up short as she spun to see just who it was that was here with her.

She rubbed her forehead. "Okay okay. What do you last remember? Maybe you're missing some time."

"Ah..." He blinks, bringing his hand up to his lips in thought. "Naruto was training to cut a waterfall in two." His smile returns to his face. "You made those disgusting mud-balls you tried to call medicine."

She moved over and swatted him upside the head, but there was no chakra behind it. She was thinking. "So the war hasn't started in your memories. That... was weeks ago."

"Ouch." There's no feeling behind the expression, though, and he just takes a step out of range. "Can you describe this war more fully?"

"It's the Shinobi alliance against the results of a massive Edo Tensai and near identical copies of everyone who are plantlike people who can copy even to the chakra signature of the people they're mimicking. Naruto finally showed up and has been weeding them out from the actual shinobi, and it seems that everyone revived by the Edo Tensai was dropping as of last night."
