She smirked again and bit one more time before turning him, keeping him pressed up against the counter to seize his lips this time for a long, hard kiss. Her free hand's fingers trailed up his side to just gently brush over the abused skin of his ear as if to sooth it. Her breath came hard through her lips as she finally pulled back to let him breathe, pressing her nose to his and just reading his expression.
He must be on his way to heaven, or at least so he thought. How it was that she could make him feel like this, he wondered. He longed to make her feel the same, at least in the back of his section of mind that wasn't completely overwhelmed in bliss.
His body shook lightly against hers, dark eyes veilled with pleasure and a hint of perceptible lust.
Sometime, he would definitely try and have her brain turn to goo too... but he had a feeling she might like having him at her clutches more. Those geniuses....
That pleasure and lust, that was exactly what she wanted to see, to show him just what she could do for him. They were properly together, after all; had been for a while now. Pushing him like this had become something of a treat for her, and she pressed herself against him, nuzzling her lips against the side of his throat.
"hnn... dinner?" he muttered, trying to be more than halfway coherent. "...dinner's meanin you right?" it was his turn to nip at an ear, because it was what was near him with her in that position.
A soft, surprised sound fell from her lips at the nip, forcing her to retaliate with a sharper nip against his throat, just above his collarbone. "Meaning the curry, Sasuke. Did you forget?"
She might have been feigning a chiding tone, but the way her fingers grazed over his ear told a different story...
His body tensed at that nip, which did shake him off his current state into better awareness. "Ahh.. y-yes of course the curry, ah... that's what I meant... Curry." with her arm close by, and her so gentle touch to what seemed to be one of his most sensitive points, he gave a light lick below her wrist and purred contentedly, before finally sweeping a thumb across a cheek.
They should eat, after all, they would heave time to do more of this later.
She shivered at the lick to her wrist, almost regretting reminding him about their meal... but it wouldn't do to overcook the rice, and with a hint of a regretful sigh, she brushed her lips over his one more time before drawing back. It was a simple matter to fetch plates, spoon out the rice, and spoon curry beside it, offering it with a smile.
"Though you know," she added conversationally with a tiny, barely-there smirk. "We neglected to buy anything for dessert."
He accepted the plate with a grateful thanks, and the lack of dessert made him chuckle. "Oh, but we don't have to buy anything~" he leaned in and nuzzled her cheek and murmured. "We've got each other right here." he purred.
A quiet laugh as she took her mild attempt at flirting for what it was, then turned her head to just briefly brush her lips over his cheek again before finally drawing back to prepare her own plate. "So it would seem, Sasuke. How fortunate."
He chuckled and put his plate at the table before heading back over. "Want something to drink with that, or just tea's fine?" tea generally came after, but he wanted some water right now, claiming a cup to fill with tap water.
"Just tea, please," she responded, settling herself at the table and tucking her legs beneath her. One of the first pieces of furniture she'd bought, when she had the funds, a low, traditional table and cushions for the floor. Far more enjoyable than sitting at a table as if they were in some public place.
This low table was also more familiar a setting to Sasuke, and when he came to see this, he immediately approved. Putting water to boil, he placed some tea near it so it would be ready to be put in. "I'll take care of the tea when the water's ready~" he said, returning to the table and sitting down upon the cushion.
"Thank you for the meal~" he claimed his chopsticks, finally having brought a nice pair of lacquered ones to call his own, having them made for himself. Dark blue with an Uchiha emblem on the top on all its sides. He waited for her to start eating first before digging in himself.
"I can do it." She echoed the traditional thanks before setting to her own meal, appreciating the way he'd waited for her to begin. It was simple, rather bland, but it was the way she preferred it. There was an arrangement of spices on the table already for Sasuke to use if he wished.
"After all, I am the one hosting you here in my home, yes?"
She went still, chopsticks on her way to her mouth when he said that, heart leaping in her throat. Slowly, she set the chopsticks down and gazed toward the table, trying to weigh the proper procedures and protocols in her mind.
Would it be decent? Would it be desired or even something good for them? She couldn't deny that seeing Sasuke more in her life could hardly be seen as a negative.
"...You truly wish to move in here? You must admit that your accommodations with your mother are far nicer than my own at this moment..." There were still rooms under repair, after all, and particularly heavy rains made the roof leak sometimes.
He took in another deep breath, dark eyes moving to look into whites. "My room at mother's house sure is nicer and the house isn't in bad need of repairs and all functionnal, but..." there was a pause, as he recalled all what went once since that fateful morning.
"....living with you would be another step to our dream." because they had a common dream. As strange as it may be, they had not shared a bed yet, still at the exploratory stages. "If you want to wait though, it's all right. I can help... with fixing the house if that's the only issue."
It was perhaps a more hasty answer than he might expect from her, but she leaned across the table to meet his eyes, gaze firming to make sure he knew that she was, as she usually was, completely serious. Another step in their dream... yes, that was what she wanted. "If you do not find the space objectionable... I would welcome your presence here on a more constant basis. Truly."
He pushed his plate aside so he could lean over and kiss her cheek, then sat back and placed his plate in front of him again, a radiant smile on his lips. "I'll see about moving things now and then, bit by bit." he was not exactly having many posessions to himself, really. "....and I'll work on fixing the house too. Our house." He really was looking forward to working on this, too... and it would make the dream-like goal even more a vivid reality.
"...Maybe I should have saved that... for dessert."
"I... would like that." Her voice was soft as she flushed under his lips, returning her attention to her plate. It was tentative, the smile that blossomed across her lips, but she couldn't hide it, either. "Very much."
She hesitated and pushed a bit of rice around on her plate before forcing herself to take a bite, not wanting to fidget in front of him. "Will you stay tonight...?"
A Hyuuga, fidgeting? that would be an historical first. He did resume eating, just so she would feel more at ease really.
"You only have to ask." he answered with a smile. "I will." it was what she wished for, and he would not deny her. Besides, they may have much to talk about concerning future arrangements.
This home... would be theirs. The one in which they would live together, raise a family... The water being ready, he knew she would go get it, and he left her to go and prepare the tea. She would like the small distraction.
Only Sasuke could bring her to such a point, though as soon as the water was done, she was on her feet with practiced ease to finish the preparations for it. Much to talk about, indeed... logistics would be important, after all. In spite of her quick answer, there was still much to discuss.
After all, would her home be suited for a family? Big enough? She flushed and leaned her hands briefly against the counter as she thought about it before returning to the table, tea cups in hand.
He had no doubt that he could make everything a reality. He was quite dedicated and hard-working when he had to. This was a side not many had seen, since he had no need of it in this so-peaceful village. He couldn't stop smiling, eating slowly. The logistics would be a bit of a bump, but would adapt.
He gave a nod of thanks as the cup of tea was laid out in front of him.
He finished the curry and exhaled a pleased sigh. "Ah~ Thank you for the food~" he claimed a sip of tea before taking his plate to the sink, rinsing it and letting it sit there to be washed after they were done, returning to the table to drink more tea. "I think first, we'll need to paint a large Uchiha emblem on the whole wall of the living room~" his tone did indicate he was joking. really, how else should he start this off?
"...considering it's our home though, I would never do anything without your approval~"
She was content to finish the rest of the meal in comfortable silence, wrapped up in her own thoughts. When Sasuke stood, it almost startled her from her own meal, leaving her finishing quickly and moving to mimic the motions from before.
The proposal of the Uchiha crest left her giving him another one of her signature unamused looks, and she only rolled her eyes without acknowledging it. Instead, she only moved to take her teacup and kneel beside him, leaning to rest her head gently against his shoulder.
Even though he proposed it, he had no pre-made plan, but he knew it would still be done. "I did say 'move in', but if you don't feel comfortable with the idea yet, I can sleep in the living room." after all, he didn't want to rush her in any way. He never had, so far, done any such thing. "I do know I'll be leaving the bed and furniture home, since they weren't mine to start with. I only have a few trinkets and changes of clothes."
He turned into her gently, to nuzzle her hair. "I'll probably start on the roof as soon as I can." maybe he could fix it before the next rainstorm too.
She only nodded against his shoulder, keeping her head there and leaving her own tea untouched, lest she need to lift her head. A breath as she felt her cheeks starting to flush, then she let her fingers brush against his free hand, twining with his own.
"I... would not mind. If you were to -- share my bed," she murmured, swallowing hard with the admission and glancing up to him. "Unless you object..."

It's true. He was in her home, and she was the host.... He claimed a deep breath, gulping down his mouthful.
"...if you want... it can be our home. I want to help too, and..." was it too early still? He couldn't tell, so he would just bring it up.
