Orochimaru moved through the village, humming under his breath as he sorted through the various items that were on sale due to the turn of the season. He had plenty of time, after all, given that nothing at home was in danger of exploding or otherwise being ruined presently, so he could enjoy the fresh air and company of those in the village.

Even if they sadly never had been willing to enjoy his company in turn. It mattered not, he would give them the benefit of the doubt, because doing anything else would have been spitting in the face of both his mother and his sensei's teachings, and he by no means wished to be a disappointment in such a simple way.

Still, most were welcoming to him, and thus there was no point in focusing on those who weren't. It would interfere with his studies, after all, and they were far more relevant than worrying on if a scattering of people knew how to be forgiving.

He saw the shift, but it was too late. No matter how temporary, that sealw as powerful, the sharingan instantly fading from his eyes, his chakra completely cut off.
There was an angry hiss. "If you think that's all it takes..." he swept at him with foot, intending to take him to the ground.

He moved back a few steps with a scoff. "All I want you to do is use your mind and notice your surroundings Sasuke-kun~. Is that beyond you?"

"It's beyond you to see I've noticed. I don't care this is a different place." he growled. "They all owe me that much, whoever they are and wherever I may be."

"You are owed nothing, and your arrogance is showing your worth to be considerably lower than any other Uchiha I've met."

The scowl he had was something of unprecedented magnitude.

...however, he found no retort to the words. Fists clenched at his side, teeth gritting hard.

He hated this world. He hated it and its people. It was all wrong!

Orochimaru took a step back and inclined his head before spinning to leave. "It should wear of in an hour."
