Rolling out of his bedding hadn't brought him to an unanticipated level of comfort. He'd been on his way back to the village and had been in camp with his teammates after all. No, the jarring part was the mad scramble needed to avoid taking a headlong dive over a cliff that hadn't been there when he'd gone to sleep, and it was more than enough to immediately put him on the defensive, back straight as he slowly scanned his surroundings.

No teammates, no -forest-. Where the hell was he?

He stood up, leaving the shop:"You think we are lucky to find something like that, 'tebbayo?"

"This place seems the sort that looks like it's between population booms, so it -is- possible."

"Oh." He tried to follow him in step, but ends up running half of the time.

He noticed, but if the blond wasn't going to say anything, he wasn't going to slow down. "The best options for that are to check the edge of town first. Abandoned does not mean in disrepair either. Take note of overgrown yards and such and we can inquire about them to the locals."

The main reason he falls behind is because he gets distracted by local people or shops and stores. He nodded:"Got it. Should we separate? Maybe it will be faster?"

"Do you even know what to look for?" He gave him an arch look.

He scratched his cheek:"I think I do..." He wasn't sure, but he would try. "I will use my bunshins to help me out!"

He sighed and shook his head. "Very well, come find me if you need help, mm?"

Makes a bunshin:"He will follow you. He will disappear if I need your location," he grinned before dashing down the street, making bunshins along the way and sending them every which way.

He stared after the teen for a moment before facing the bunshin. "Can you talk?"

Bunshin bristled up:"Of course I can talk!"

[smallstepstopower]

"Kage Bunshin then as I didn't see him do any elemental signs. How many of you can he make?"

[orange_dattebayo]

He thought for a moment:"Uhh... plenty. I think he can summon over one thousand," he nodded pensively.

He stared at him intently at that and leaned in, studying him carefully. "Really."

He scrunched his nose at him:"Yes. Really." Really.

[smallstepstopower]

He paused for a long moment before humming. "As soon as we're finished with this I'd like to check something, if you believe that your original would be amenable?"

He looked at him suspiciously:"What do you want to try out?" Yes, even bunshin can be wary. Especially of Oro.

"I want to test your chakra."

[orange_dattebayo]

He took several steps backwards:"Like hell you will! I ain't letting you use needles on me!"

[smallstepstopower]

He stared at him, slightly incredulous. "When did I say a word about needles?"

[orange_dattebayo]

He blinked then mumbled:"Well you didn't... but still!" It sounds kinda frightening, you know.

[smallstepstopower]

He huffed softly. "I have no intention of hurting you."

[orange_dattebayo]

He frowned at that, crossing his arms:"Then how do you plan to do it?"

[smallstepstopower]

"It's something done entirely through chakra, actually."

[orange_dattebayo]

"Oh... well, I don't trust you yet! So I will have to think about it, dattebayo." He's answering as if he's the real one.
