[OPEN] Riku no Sato? Away we go?

Today felt like a magnificent day.

No, really, when ever had he started thinking like this? He felt so much lighter since that day, even with the knowledge of the future being as ludicrous as it was. He had, after all, another knowledge to counterbalance it.
After breakfast was an affair that was taken care of -oh, and he would need to buy bread once he got back home- he washed the plate and teacup he used and left them to dry before putting on his boots, coat and giving a light snicker as he wound and then tied his scarf, a few memories drifting by him.

And so, he went out of the now-still appartment, taking out the frowning dragon keychain and looking at it fondly for just a half-second before locking the door, pocketing the key and... nearly geting some sort of breacelet dropped on his head.

There was a blink as the trinket was kept from hitting the ground, a practiced hand swiftly picking it up in mid-air as he glanced up... and then his eyes widened in shock. So many birds, so many vivid colors. He couldn't help but stare, briefly mesmerized by the scene.
Then, there was the missive with the bracelet, which he unfloded to read... and the white eyes narrowed.

It was quite enticing, but also.... quite suspicious. The Hokage should already be aware of this, but in case he was not, and because he wished advice on what to do, there was nothing better but to ask him his advice, if he had any orders.
He picked up one more of the similar notes along with a seashell on his way to where Tenten had pointed him to the Hokage's dwelling.

"I thought teammates was good enough..." Her lips curved back into one of her regular smiles, feeling ridiculously, absurdly happy like this, seeing Neji like this, teasing, just being... himself. "But I guess I was wrong about that, huh?" With that, she tilted her head to catch his lips in another kiss, an unhurried, heartfelt kiss.

White eyes closed as their lips locked again, and yet another of the myriad of different feelings a kiss could procure came through.

She was not entirely wrong about teammates being good enough. It would have been good enough if she so wished. Along the way though, their mutual feelings had changed. Mostly having to do with the shocking news of his future impending doom. He could see, he could feel, he could almost -touch- hor important he was to her, and from then...
...he regretted nothing.

He joined into the kiss, free hand finding one of hers, thumb stroking the side of her hand along with the knuckles it could reach.

Such a sweet, innocent gesture, holding her hand... she was still amazed every time by just how good, how warm something that simple could feel when he drew his thumb across her knuckles. So oddly endearing...

It would have been good enough if that's how he'd felt, too, if he'd wanted to keep their relationship that of teammates, of comrades, then that would be -- not fine, but she'd have accepted it. Having her feelings returned...? There was nothing she wouldn't do to make sure that he'd stay safe, that whatever that future was? She'd find a way to stop it.

Her free hand stayed in his hair, stroking gently over his temples, the spots normally covered by the straps of his forehead protector, the areas where the veins from the Byakugan stood out when he used it... Was it more sensitive there, or less? So many things she wanted to know about him, trivial and not. Hesitating for just a moment as she broke the kiss to breathe, she leaned up and pressed her lips right to the center of that Seal, eyes closed.

They needed no words, by this point. It all seemed so natural, how everything had slipped into place. Almost as if.... no. Not fate.

Destiny.
Yes. This... sounded much better. Much less final.
He had it here, locked into a passionate embrace with him. Heaven.

Her touch, however light, never ceased to put him either at ease or drive him towards that edge depending on where and how. Right now, she was gentle, as gentle as a breeze blowing in summer. She also could be like a raging wildfire, such as that time she had him pinned. She was somewhat unpredictable and shifty, but he did like her that way.

He continued stroking her hand, and when she kissed the seal, he brought her hand to his lips to kiss her knuckles. Her every touch made him forget everything else, which was both good and bad.

It was hard to say which she enjoyed more -- the almost-frantic swirls of emotion from earlier, or this softer, gentler embrace, her lips brushing over his Seal, then his cheek, then a light, tender touch to his throat.

"I'm glad you're with me, Neji," she murmured, resting her chin on his shoulder and just smiling, shivering a bit with the cool air against her bare back now that some of that heated passion from earlier was starting to cool to something calmer.

There was the faintest of whimpers at that brush of lips against his throat, white eyes staring into another very happy world a few seconds, although he blinked back to reality at the shiver and those words.

"I wouldn't have it any other way... Without you here, I would still be as before, when I met Hokage-sama..."

"You mean being a total jerk to everyone?" She smiled against his skin, laughing a little quietly to herself as she kissed his throat again. "It's a change... but not a bad one, right?"

"hmmm..." he purred at the kissed upon his throat, giving her temple who was conveniently close by a kiss of his own. "I recall someone that stated she didn't want me to change." he teased.

Still, he was not going to turn into what his future self was.

Another shiver at that stupid purr of his, a shiver that had nothing to do with the weather as she pressed in closer, then let out a little disgruntled sound against his throat, nipping there as 'punishment.' "That's different and you know it, so shush."

Oh not again!
Oh yes again!! No wait he wasn't supposed to want her to do that right now!

"Hrnn.. Tenten!" he hissed between cenched teeth, eyes widening. "I was mentionning the end result was the same!" yes well, he is trying to save face...

Another disgruntled sound, worried that he might start trying to pick apart her logic... it had been shaky as it was, she didn't want to deal with that!

"I said shush," she repeated, nipping a little harder in retaliation.

Aside from that throaty half-whimper, half-moan, he remained as he was. No, really, he knew he -should- stay quiet this time, else... she had many ways to make him regret this...

He was shushing, see?

Her lips curved into another smile there as she kissed the spot she'd bitten with a gentle touch, then leaned up to kiss him again. It's only a brief brush of her lips against his before she touches her fingers to his lips. "You're great no matter what you decide to do or how you decide to change, Neji. I've already fallen for you, so don't question it, okay?"

He laced his arms around her, kissing her fingers since they were conveniently close.
"How hard is it to get an aswer out of you." he chuckled. "...although, I am glad to hear it."

"I'm easy to get an answer out of," she corrected, brushing her fingers over his lips in a mimicry of what he'd done with his thumb earlier. "It's you who's the cryptic one~"

"Of course not, I ennunciate eerything as amazingly clearly as I can. The only thing that may confuse you may just be the overly lenghty explanations~" he gave a light chuckle. "Too much information cannot be a bad thing, hmm?" he let his tngue slip out slightly to lick at those passing fingers.

"So you admit they're overly lengthy?" she teased, brushing her fingers over his lips one more time before replacing them with her own lips for another brief kiss. "There's too much information, then there's just obscuring the answer~"

"Hnn... yes, yes there is." he agreed with a purr. "But you shouldn't mind so much, yes?" he gave an amused chuckle. "...hearing more of my voice, I mean~"

Oh, asking that when he was doing that delicious purr wasn't fair, wasn't fair at all! Her eyes focused on his lips, then on his throat as she brushed her lips over his Adam's apple, just the barest graze of teeth against it. "I do like the sound of your voice, Neji-sama~"

Keeping a straight face was barely managed, although he sharply inhaled. "I....had figured, yes." he had to shift a hand and grip at the cave floor to somewho steady himself.

"Did you?" she purred herself, eyes sparkling as she nipped at his collarbone again. "How'd you figure it~?"

"Of course I--waugh!" oh that was one nip far too close. "Aaaah... y-you do know nothing escapes me, and... least of all my current predicament."

"Predicament? How come you call it that~?" A lick from his collarbone, across that sensitive spot, and then back down again, grazing her teeth there again. "Predicament sounds pretty bad..."

"W-well, it could be arguable, really..." he panted lightly, shaking at that lick, then letting out a muffled groan as she grazed teeth upon that spot. "It is not... so bad now, however it may be later. depending.. on how it eveolves."

"Depending on how what evolves?" She latched her lips over that spot to just lightly suck at his skin, not biting just yet. "You're doing that cryptic thing again, Neji-sama~"
