[OPEN] Weapons Exercise

Just because she was in a strange location didn't mean she was about to take a vacation... Especially not after being beaten so thoroughly by that Neji. The thought still was enough to freeze her blood, the slightest threads of panic starting to set in before her lip firms and she gathers her Chakra in her feet, leaping straight up into the air. For today's training, at least, she'd left the scroll leaning against one of the short wooden posts simulating a human body. Instead, a long katana shimmered in the late afternoon sunlight as she twists in midair, flipping over with a harsh kiai to split the log neatly in two, then turn, weaving her way through another weapon's form, twisting and pivoting as she fought enemies only she could see. Sweat dripped from her brow, the twin buns of her hair disheveled as she panted for breath, unwilling or unable to quit as she keeps pushing herself.

First that Sasuke, then Neji. She kept finding herself forced into situations where she couldn't fight at range. If she were ever going to advance, she needed to get past her current level. They were geniuses, but -- well, if Lee had proven anything, it was that hard work really could beat a genius.

The question would be if she could ever get to that point herself.

"I should hope so, I said I would, didn't I?" He lifted his head away from her, sinking down in the water a bit as he kneaded slowly down her legs.

She hums and doesn't answer, one hand falling back to grasp the edge of the tub and squeeze hard, not about to interrupt again until he's finished, lest he stop.

He slid his hands to the undersides of her legs, kneading firmly at her muscles. "Do you like it?"

Those muscles spasm beneath his touch for a moment, more heavily muscled than her arms, and she fights back a small, breathy groan. "You can go harder, if you want," she says finally, tipping her head back to exhale.

"Mmm didn't I tire you when I was harder?" He did apply more pressure though.

That sends a hand flying from the side of the tub to lightly cuff his ear. "Already told you, was already tired from training!" Her indignation was softened by a smile, but she still dares him to increase the pressure again by pressing down against his hands.

He squeezed firmly, hands turning a little so the motion would pull at more sensitive places as his hands slid upwards. "So you did."

She just hums again, letting her hand fall to stroke through his hair, fingertips running over his ear and along his cheekbone. "That's good, I think. Any more, and you'll have melted all my muscles."

"Is that bad?" The words were husky and low, and he worked ihs palms down to the back of her knees, sitting back sightly in the water.

"Mm, no, not at--?!" That tickles, and she lets out a squeak, one of her feet kicking out before she can restrain herself. "Hey!"

He slid forward so his hips were between her knees. "Ohh, not like that?"

She bends one knee to plant her foot on his chest and give him a light shove, grin playing over her lips again. "No!"

He moved his fingers to the tops of her knees, then one trailed up to her ankle so he could lift her foot and kiss the bottom of it. "Ah, forgive me?"

She squeaks again, foot reflexively flying out even as she tries in vain to move back. "Itachi!"

He tightened his hold as he twisted to avoid being kicked. "No?"

[bunsofsteel]

"No!" She has to bite her lip to keep from laughing, bringing her other foot up and twisting her hips to bring her shin around in an abbreviated roundhouse kick to his upper thigh.

He pouted at her, drooping sideways in the water as though wounded. "So unkind..."

[bunsofsteel]

"Don't give me that look." She lowers herself further into the water until her chin drifts atop it, grinning all the while. "You're fine~"

"Mmm yes." He nuzzled her ankle. "Thank you."

[bunsofsteel]

She squirms again, trying to tug her foot back. "What for?"

[youngesthokage]

He followed her foot, not fighting the pull. "Why, the compliment."

[bunsofsteel]

She blinks for a moment, then laughs again, drawing her knee up to her chest and tilting her head. "If you say so, Itachi-sama."

He moved so he was leaning against her leg. "Of course I do Tenten."

[bunsofsteel]

Shifting up a little higher, she extends her leg, resting her weight back against the tub as she lets her knee touch her shoulder, foot pointing straight up in the air. "I guess the massage worked," she murmurs, looking at her own leg appraisingly.

Well, what could he do but look at her leg to... and lean forward to nuzzle it. "Well, then I am happy to have been of service."
