Silent until they were home, Sasuke finally stepped through the door and, once her shoes were kicked off, she looked around and ran ahead, seeking out her older self. Fine, she'd just get this over with.

"Sasuke?" he removed his own shoes by reflex, padding swiftly behind her.

After going to the kitchen and eating all the tomatoes he could -and this body could eat even more, it was awesome!- he'd gone ahead in this slightly revealing but he didn't really mind outfit, off to the backyard of course. No better place to train than there.

This was so great, because he could move so fast, and his sharingan was even more awesome, and he could climb trees, kick at a branch and then jump after it, the slash at the small thing with a kunai and break it in two!
Then? He could go back up the tree and kick another small bit of branch down again, and this time try to pin it to the other tree with a shuriken, and then try with two at once, and it was awesome that he really could do that, and even if he did a movement too slow, it didn't mind cause really, that sharingan was even better than his own and he could just recuperate and go from there.

Sasuke -was- having the best time EVER, laughing and slashing at thing, or throwing shurikens.

Sasuke had run out again without her shoes when she heard the sounds of training, and her expression was a combination of 'shocked' and 'livid'. That was what she looked like? And... Her body!!

So that was what her laughter sounded like? A glance to the younger of the two, a kind of vague hope that someday, something would happen where she would be able to do that herself.

"Sasuke-kun, that's enough." He stepped forward, past her, to make sure the other one knew that yes, he was referring to him.

"Ehhee~ Yaaaay!" yup, he -was- having a grand time.

...and then he heard the voice, and was just used to be referred as such. "Neji-sensei?" he glanced that way and spotted himself, or at least... his body. Uh-oh. Fun's over?

"Comin~" he still sounded ungodly happy, and gave an overjoyed giggle, jumping off the tree, flipping around in mid-air and landing on his feet. Oh BOY did he like this body! He probably couldn't keep it though. "Heya older-girl-me~" he gave a very cheerful wave as he ran over to join them.

Clearly he was the only one happy with that. Sasuke herself was clearly uncomfortable and not really wanting to look at her own body at all. It was... Too strange. That way, it was far too bizarre.

"..."

He just shook his head, honestly amused by the younger's reaction to all this, but he affected a more stern gaze anyway. "Please be so kind as to take her hand in the hopes it might jolt you two back where you belong."

"..." it was weird to see himself like that. "Yes Neji-sensei!" he went over to try and claim his own hand. If that failed, he'd just try again!
He hoped it worked, kinda. Or wait, he hoped it wasn't bacause where were his shoes!? "...what're you doin barefoot outside? You're gonna catch me a cold!"

That was supposed to work, wasn't it? So why was her hand still that small hand inside of the much bigger and more familiar one?

She felt her stomach drop at that, and she just stared at it, trying not to think about the implications of what that meant.

Neji just frowned when there wasn't an obvious shift. "In any case, stay near each other, please."

"Understood~" he almost sang, just as enthused as ever. "Older-girl-me is so great! You can do soooo many awesome things!" he looked down -how odd itw as to look that way instead of up- at her. "Niichan said you're awesome with kenjutsu! Someday I wanna learn too.. but not b'fore I'm through everythin m'tryin to work on~"

She looked away in silence again, tense and clearly unhappy with the situation.

"You're quite right on those accounts, Sasuke-kun," he agreed mildly, though his expression didn't shift. "Perhaps you might ask her to train with you today, once this mess is resolved?"

He timidly reached out to tug on a sleeve. "..girl-me? Y'wanna train..later today?" he asked, voice a small plea. "....I promise I'll be good... till we get back in our bodies..."

He didn't sound or looked that happy anymore, sensing finally how reluctant and annoyed the other was. "..m'sorry about this mess." he apologized, even though he had no idea who or what caused it.

"..." Still Sasuke said nothing, shrinking a little before she eventually just sighed, "I doubt you actually meant to do this."

Neji just watched and rather hoped the boy wasn't going to cry. The sight of tears on her face wasn't something he thought he could handle all that easily.

Against all odds, instead of tears came a smile.
After all, he wasn't going to cry all the time when things didn't go his way. Sure, he felt bad seeing his girl-self in his body being so distressed, but... he didn't do it. "It's okay, girl-me! I'll stay with you till things get back to how they're s'possed to be."

The shoulder he'd put a hand upon was so small... it gave him a whole new perspective on how others just might perceive him. So this was what they saw and dealt with all the time?
...looks could and would be so deceiving. He might be small, but he knew -and had been told- he could already do some pretty advanced things. All he needed was a larger chakra pool really, and he -could- be something to contend with.
Or so he would like to think. When a certain event came back to his mind, it reminded how powerless he could be, and how he wouldn't let something like that happen again if he could help it. That was what getting stronger was all about.

"We should go back in, yea?"

Reluctantly she nodded, still not meeting the eye of either person as she just stood there for the moment, waiting for someone else to lead the way.

Neji nodded, lightly putting a hand on the boy's shoulder before moving to lead the way inside. Tea would be effective right about now -- if nothing else, it would calm his nerves. "Would either of you like anything?" A quick glance revealed that --

"I see you've eaten most of the tomatoes, Sasuke-kun.

"ehehe~ yeah, I was hungry, so..." he gave a sheepish smile. "Sorry~"

Once more she frowned before she made to seat herself at the table, looking away from the other two as she just remained silent for the moment.

He just sighed through his nose, trying not to be so disconcerted. As refreshing as it had been to see such expressions on the female Sasuke's face...? It still was not as if she were the one making them. Instead, he busied himself preparing tea for the three of them. "Next time, show some restraint," he chided quietly, glancing over his shoulder and shaking his head, though it was easy to tell from his voice that he wasn't truly annoyed. "Go on and sit down, Sasuke-kun."

"Sorry." he repeated. "I mean, I ate till I felt full.. like usual..." he scratched his head as he sat down, and then more joy. "It's okay though! Eventually we're gonna be back to how we're s'possed to, yeah? We just gotta wait it out."

"Hn," The noise was all she made as she just stared at a spot on the wall, still annoyed and not really feeling like socializing with anyone else at all while she was still in that state.
