He'd been doing his part for Lee's most recent genjutsu, which apparently called for him to be a princess today. Fine, so he could be Nejiko-hime until Lee's point was made! No problem. He could hold an umbrella over himself for the dramatic part of the scene and it would work out.

Still, he'd sighed and closed his eyes, because Lee wasn't being convincing at all today, but when he opened his eyes! It was no good, suddenly all the props were gone and the water falling on him wasn't coming from a hose. Where did everyone go?

He turned in a circle, activating his Byakugan as he spun the sunny red parasol on his hands, but no! No Tenten, no Lee?

DID LEE MANAGE A REAL GENJUTSU?!

The idea stymied him, because that wasn't the point of their show! That made no sense.

Freeing a hand, he put it to his head, trying to understand what just happened.

This day was good. Very good. No wait, it was about to get even better, because he had just spotted the most marvelous beauty! And what was this!?

A lady in peril! She was most likely about to faint! "I've got you~" nevermind that this lady had white eyes, and is somewhat strong-boned as he suddenly has her in his arms. "...at least wait until you've seen me, if you are going to faint~"

What? No one told him they were bringing in Sasuke for this skit! WHEN DID HE GET HERE?!

He turned his head to look at him, trying to figure out how to go with this. "....."

Nope, nothing. He'll just stare instead.

"Ah, struck speechless by my beauty?" except by looking so close, this....

"Are you a princess, or queen?"

Nope. Not going to work. It was only another moment before he flailed his way free. "Wait! Wait, I'm missing the script! Narrator-san hasn't explained the change in the skit."

That voice? Definitely male. The flailing did have him put the other somewhat down. The words? Definitely nothing that made sense. It did seem fine to him, regardless.

"Oh, because you believe true love can be explained?" Skit. He spoke of a skit, so why not just push it to the limit? "No script can possibly truly allow me to pour out my heart's words~"

He was blushing, and confused, and he shot another quick look around them. Oh no! Had Sasuke taken over the show?

He looked back. He'd known Naruto wanted to, but not Sasuke. "True... love?"

"I do have a specific ambition that could include a lady as dashing as you~" yes Neji, keep up that confusion, keep up that blush too. sasuke isn't blushing and isn't confused and sounds like a purring feline. "Why are you turning eyes away from me?"

"I was. Uh." His voice dropped to a hiss and he leaned in. "Did you take over the show?"

"Oh, yes I did~" he purred, cupping the other's chin lightly and gazing at him. "I take over whatever I want, including you~" He was having definite fun with this whole 'skit' thing.

Horrified didn't even begin to cover his current feelings. "You what? HOW?"

He blinked at him, then finally leaned away a bit.

Finally, he just couldn't take it and laughed. "Ahahah! You're hilarious!" no, really, he was having too much fun with this. "Wherever you're from, ahah!" oh, did he ever lead him on here. "You should see your face!"

He managed to fully disengage, hopping back a couple paces and quickly switching his attire back to normal, the dress vanishing who knew where. "That. Was not. Funny."

Oh, it was funny to him, because he couldn't stop laughing.

"So you -are- Neji. Nice to see back into the right gender, though I kinda think you look nice as a girl~" he winked. "Don't need me as any prince charming? I could narrate a story~"

"I have a narrator, thank you, though he seems to have decided to take a break from explaining things."

"Break, hmm? I can take over~"

He held up his hands in a warding gesture. "No, that won't be necessary."

"A pity~" he chuckled lightly. "Well, regardless, I hope you'll like it here. You might be confused for a while."

"And where is... here?"

"Michi no Sato~" he spread his arms wide. "Peaceful, and no one is like what you expect!"

"Such as yourself. You always manged dramatic but not... that."

"Ahahha~ I know. Thank you very much!"

He couldn't help but stare. "You're... enthusiastic."

"Yup! You bet I am~ I can sparkle too." he spun on his feet and threw some glittery dust in the air. "You have before your eyes the last Uchiha of Konoha~" a pause. "...in a specific timeline and world, that is~" hey he is still special! "How can I not be enthusiastic? Life is quite wonderful."

"... ... Why haven't you guest starred like this? Wait. No. Can't outshine Lee."

[konohasuperstar]

"Can't outshine Lee huh?" he actually laughed lightly. "I can, effortlessly~" this was probably why he didn't have his own show. "Maybe I would sign so many autographs that I wouldn't be able throw a kunai right afterwards~"
