Practicing with the new weather... issue was an interesting thing to try to do. Especially given the water formations seemed especially prevalent on the outdoor training fields.

She didn't, however, hesitate to work with her elements, since if nothing else, she'd long since learned how to deal with Naruto, and it would be fun to finally be able to spring an appropriate reaction on him when he did a dousing jutsu to try to shortcut in their spars.

Unfortunately, it also meant that when she decided to take a break she was sopping wet, her clothes were half falling off, and she'd had to chase her sword across the field when one of the spouts had landed on her.

She paused a moment, then smirked, heading to the tub. "And people are dazed when someone like myself shows off humor."

"Are they?" he was going slow about his own rinsing and scrubbing, enjoying it. "These people sure haven't met me yet, then."

"Usually. There are a lot of people, back home especially, who have the impression i have no sense of humor."

"Their loss then, ain't it?" he called out as he finished over in the other section. "There's some times when I miss home, but... some times where I don't." he moved with masterful casualness as he stepped into the tub.

"Mmm perhaps I have no desire for them to know." She sank down in the water and made herself comfortable,shamelessly looking him over.

"Yep; keep that humor for those who're worth it." he stretched and leaned on one side of the tub, linking his arms behind his head.
Only after a short while did he blink over. "...except that makes me wonder how much of that humor was tossed at me without me even knowing."

Her lips quirked up in a small smirk, and she made herself comfortable. "You're better endowed than I would have thought a male me would be."

"Oh~ a woman waiting for me to be naked before throwing compliments~" he was mostly amused. "Nice to know you're pleasantly surprised... except I'm not sure what you were even expecting~" a pause. "...if you say something the size of a mice, I'll retire the compliment thing... but since I'm on that, you've got nice tomatoes, too bad I can't eat em~"

She scoffed softly and cupped her chest, her hands pretty much entirely covering them. "These don't even need a bra, and happen to be tiny. Why wouldn't I expect the male bits to be put together the same way?"

"Male bits would still need something regardless, can't go commando with em~" he gave a snicker. "But yeah, the size of the brain matters more than what's down there, even if I -act- like an idiot sometimes. Besides, it's my brain that tells me who I love, not what,s between my legs. Wasn't it the same for you guys?" a pause. "..I mean you and Naruto."

She released her chest and settled down into the water. "Naruto... We went through a lot together, it would have been impossible not to be close."

"You and him being happy is good then~ but we went through the whole haters thing a bit ago.. ahah. I'm still glad for you." he stretched his legs. "Speaking of relationships, I should see about making some omusubi with sweet plum and nice tea..."

That got a pause and a sideways look. "Why?"

"Cause a certain someone likes a specific omusubi, and I'm pretty sure would like a tea break." he looked up at the ceiling. "...and cause it's nice to find excuses to get him to forget that he's only here to fix other people's problems for a short while."

Oh did he look proud, because that could mean so many people in that village.

There was a definite stare going on from this Sasuke, and she immediately discounted a good chunk of people. "They live in this house."

He stretched and gave a hum. "mhmmm~ not sure he wants that any public though... he's pretty quiet so far, so I'm letting that grow on the side." plus, using food and the concern that he really should take his mind off work, and that he mattered definitely was something Sasuke wanted to do.

Another long moment of staring. "You mean Sakumo. I didn't realize that you two had started a relationship."

[konohasuperstar]

"Yea. It's recent... and it sort of.. shocked me when I realized how I felt. I mean it... it's different. Powerful.."without even noticing it, he had placed a hand above his heart and clenched it onto a loose fist. "I... want to find ways to make him happy... and this is one I think he'll like, even if it's a small gesture."

She peered at him, then finally settled into the water again, closing her eyes with a soft smile. "Make sure that your claim is well instated mmm?" There was a moment of pause, and she smirked a little as she cracked an eye open. "He missed the ship on another Sasuke while I've been keeping an eye on him, don't let him do it again with you."

"..missed the ship?" he blinked, then.. no, wait. "..you.. do you mean that one from his home was here at some point?" or maybe that was something else. "Things here sound kinda complicated, but if there's something I gotta know, I'd like to know."

"I think he might have had hopes for the other female version of us for a little while and neither of them noticed. I do know that switched quickly to brotherly protectiveness when she ended up with Neji however and that went.... turbulently."

"Oh..the one in that threesome with Ino." well, that kinda made sense. "We're both inexperienced, and even if it had flaws, I think it has advantages too. As long as he's happy with me... It,s probably too early for him to know, for his case, but... for his sake, and mine, I'll believe in that feeling I have here, for him." he looked down at his hand then, that still rested on his heart.

It may be cheesy, corny, cliché, but to him, it was what he felt. "So that's why even these little omusubi and something as common as tea can have such a great importance. Little things... that show you matter... to someone... and that someone matters to you."

"I see you're still sorting it out for yourself." She closed her eye. "As I'm hardly someone who needs it explained to them. After all, I'd never forgive my Naruto if he died, so I know the way of these feelings."

He gave a nod and let out a long, deep breath. A few more minutes passed before he stirred once more. "We're all young, and this place is peaceful.. so him dying might just be really far off."

"After what happened when we were younger... are you going to really put your faith in thinking that the peace is going to go on indefinitely?"
