Practicing with the new weather... issue was an interesting thing to try to do. Especially given the water formations seemed especially prevalent on the outdoor training fields.

She didn't, however, hesitate to work with her elements, since if nothing else, she'd long since learned how to deal with Naruto, and it would be fun to finally be able to spring an appropriate reaction on him when he did a dousing jutsu to try to shortcut in their spars.

Unfortunately, it also meant that when she decided to take a break she was sopping wet, her clothes were half falling off, and she'd had to chase her sword across the field when one of the spouts had landed on her.

The Naruto that came around might not be the one she expected, however. What was expected though, was him being soaked and not really seeming to mind it. He did seem somewhat more enthused as he happened to catch a glimpse of the one resident of the training field he was intending to use, thanks to it being his favorite view of the village, and a great place to meditate and store nature chakra. Granted, the view or place mattered little when doing that, but since he could choose, why deny himself the opportunity?

"Oh, it's a Sasuke-chan. Hey." he did not sound as extravagantly joyful, his last encounters with any Sasuke having doused that.

It was easy enough to tell that he wasn't hers before he even got close, the clothing having given a pretty obvious clue as to that, and she arched an eyebrow at him. "I think that's the most lackluster response anyone has given me since I got here."

Upon reaching her blade, she leaned down and picked it off the ground, looking over at him.

"Oh, uh..ahhaa~ there's just so many Sasukes here it's kinda hard to keep track of all of 'em, and most don't sound like they're too keen on seein' me, yaknow? Wasn't sure I'd met you or not yet." so this wasn't the one female Sasuke that completely rejected him. Good.

"Do I win a prize or something?" hey, being the most lackluter should earn him something, right?

"We're sparring." She flipped the blade to rest against her shoulder instead of sheathing it. Unlike the other Sasuke, her attire had color, bright color that is, interspersed over it, and was decidedly feminine while being functional. Today her Hitai-ate was serving as a belt.

"I want to see how you compare to my Naruto."

Sparring? A real-deal spar? With Sasuke? Not some angry fight over coming back to Konoha?
Granted this was different, and eh should be used to scenarios like this, but... no other Sasuke had asked him to spar, let alone exactly talked to him more than five minutes.

"Right! Let's do this~" he jumped back to put some reasonable distance between them trying to keep his excitement contained. "Gimee a few seconds.." he claimed a deep breath.. He was not going to disappoint Sasuke! He would offer his full focus! "Ready!" almost instantly, he slipped out a kunai.

She shifted her blade, falling into an easy defensive stance, though it was a little different than the one Naruto would have seen her male counterpart use. Different teachers, after all. "Come on then, I want to see what you know."

And he threw the kunai, then followed with shuriken, taking out another kunai he'd kept in hand, observing the parries or dodge, before summoning a small platoon of four clones, all of them rushing out with a kunai in hand, jumping or charging at her.

one thing's for sure: all the Narutos know this massive clone army technique...

She deflected one, then another, and dodged the last, lashing out as she avoided the attacks to pop the clones. It would take more strategy than that to land a hit on her with that kind of technique Naruto.

He summoned more clones though, like some kid stuck on a new trick, and again the wave attacked.

They were trying to lure her to back away into that waterspout he could see coming.

And she was declining, instead casually destroying them as she picked apart the hints of moves her Naruto used among the different style... and not really going anywhere at all because of it. "Is this really your plan?"

"Che.." well, darn, if she had gone where he wanted, he could have done it and used the distraction for another attack, but no. It was something he had to try though, and the waterspout had definitely chenged course and was unusable.

Deciding to forego the clones, he rushed at her, kunai in hand, intending to see some of this blade prowess of hers up-close.

Better! She deflected him and lashed out in a kick before spinning into another strike, smooth and quick about her actions. She saw zero reason to go easy on him, immediately pressing her attack, though not trying to stab him. Yet.

Anyone watching would have been entranced by how quickly the two traded blows, evaded or countered. Naruto was jumping or rolling or dashing all over the place, blue eyes determined as he somethines blocked a strike or initiated one of his one to have it parried, with Sasuke retaliating to his every move.

He dove and tried to strike at a leg, body filled with adrenalin.

Rain, hail, snow, nothing mattered in the face of the grandest and most dashing of Uchiha, and also of all the Sasukes in this village.

Behold as he trudges through, clothes and hair thoroughly soaked. He still manages to look way too good even soaked.

"Oh~ I look good even soaked" He echoed the narrator as his eyes fell upon his female counterpart. "...although I do look better as a soaked female." and this was when he approached, hardly looking like he minded that this particular waterspout sloshed him even more and he is now dripping.

"Yo~" he gave a salute. "Workin hard?" a pause. "Oh, why do I ask, when I work, I always work hard. Can't be that different here~"

She looked over as the small twister dissolved, looking far from impressed with his comment, but nodding all the same. "We haven't met. I believe your room is next to mine though."

"Can't believe it took us that long to meet. Ha~ It's aaaalways nice to see another me." he ran a hand through soaked hair to get it out of his face, or try to... not fun to have the tips drip in his eyes. "Oh, you're the room next to mine? I swear those noises at night ain't me, I sleep like a log."

"No they're... probably one of the small children actually." She peered at him for a moment, then huffed a breath, giving her blade a once over before sheathing it.

He gave a light chuckle. "We do have a lot of those around~ They have the greatest and most dashing role model around too~" he gave a chuckle, hooking a finger to his necklace.

She flashed him a small, slightly wicked smile. "You mean my Naruto right?"

"Huh? No! I mean me of course. How can you be so cruel against another version of yourself?" he gave a pout. "Plus, I do have yet to meet any of these Narutos... apparently they'd look like my Menma. Interesting." he did give her a smirk. "If that's the case though, I approve of your taste~"

"Mother gave him to me." She rolled her shoulder in a shrug, finally coming to stand in front of him. "When we were six that is. We've been together ever since."

[konohasuperstar]

"..." the way she said that was--- "Now I,m pretty envious, sort of.. hrmmm.." he cocked his head, thoughtful. "You sound like you've gotten even luckier than me, hard to do~"

She was quiet a moment. "My life is very different than that of every other Sasuke I've met here, and a lot of that had to do with Naruto. When everything... happened." She paused, looking toward the house as her hands flexed a bit. She still hadn't come to terms with the Itachi situation.

She looked back to him. "When everything happened Naruto stole all my things while I was in the hospital unconscious and made me move into his apartment on the other side of the village. He wouldn't let me just... focus. Kept picking at how it wasn't right. Whenever I'd get to intense that is."

Taking in the story, she most likely could see sheer, intense happiness in his eyes and his expression, and he even gave her a hug. A light, quick one. "So you had someone... and he was with you through everything. Niisan told me his reasons and explained everything to me before going on exile from the village... so he left rebuilding the clan to me. Nice to hear Naruto's ended up here with you."

He was quite amazingly happy for her, as it seemed.

She was visibly thrown by his reaction, not hugging back, but not protesting either as she just... blinked at him. "I'm still coming to terms with... Niisan in general. But Naruto... I was so relieved when he got here. All the others are just... wrong. They don't know anything about anything."
