Practicing with the new weather... issue was an interesting thing to try to do. Especially given the water formations seemed especially prevalent on the outdoor training fields.

She didn't, however, hesitate to work with her elements, since if nothing else, she'd long since learned how to deal with Naruto, and it would be fun to finally be able to spring an appropriate reaction on him when he did a dousing jutsu to try to shortcut in their spars.

Unfortunately, it also meant that when she decided to take a break she was sopping wet, her clothes were half falling off, and she'd had to chase her sword across the field when one of the spouts had landed on her.

"..ah y-yea.. Good point." he coughed lightly.

"I thought as much." She arched an eyebrow at him. "I like her fine as a person, but not in conjunction with Naruto."

[konohasuperstar]

"I don't like her.. at all." he shook his head. "She's... too forceful." he grunted before raking fingers through his hair. "Either way, now I,m the one gettin worked up about her. Ugh." he was not so fond of how she acted around Menma, but his teammate never seemed to mind so much.

"She's much more unassuming than that where I'm from, and even moreso here." She shook her head. "But her feelings clearly never change."

[konohasuperstar]

"AUGH! Why're we even talkin about her?" he shook his head. "Either way, you've got your Naruto, and he loves you, so.." so nope, she had nothing to fear from that banshee.

"He does." She smiled at him and nodded once. "He's mine, and he's going to stay mine." There was a beat of pause. "Though apparently saying as much offends people."

[konohasuperstar]

"Huh? Sheesh..why would it even? You two were best buds and went on to uh..next step, and you're happy. Everyone else here is so weird.." he frowned.

"Yes, well, I think that people get the impression that he doesn't matter when I just declare he's mine and leave it at that." She arched an eyebrow at him.

[konohasuperstar]

"..huh? Yaknow, that kinda makes me wanna look into findin out just how much electricity I need to knock senses back in people." he blinked at his fingertips. "That'd be useful 'round here. Can,t be that different from numbin nerves."

"Exactly. Why would I bother to say it if saying it was just a claim of emotionless ownership?" She shook her head, huffing a breath.

"Don't worry... i'm on your side."

There was a pause, and he blinked. familiar words, but... "..and here and now, I do mean it." he reached out and put a hand on her shoulder. "So..if you feel like venting or talking about how happy you are with your Naruto.. anything.. look me up."

She blinked at being touched, then gave a hum, showing she heard him. "It wouldn't be hard to find you, you reek of flowers."

[konohasuperstar]

"Ahaha, sorry.... Smelling of them is one thing, but reeking? That's a step beyond and doesn't sound good." he gave a light chuckle. "Makes me easy to pick out though?"

"You smell like you got something spilled on you instead of just being around them." She shook her head slightly. "O that you bathed in it."

"...ah.. really? that bad?" he grasped at his shirt and stared at it. "Wonder why, since I do wash this.... Think it's cause I work too much?" why hadn't anyone complained before if it was so unbearable?

"It might just be that I'm oversensitive to it. I don't use scents in anything."

[konohasuperstar]

"..ah... well, sorry about being too close then." he hastily drew away a good five feet. "Besides, I should probably head back."

She looked terribly unimpressed with his action, then strode past him toward the house. "Unless you mean to work, we live in the same house moron."

[konohasuperstar]

"Ah, I uh.. y-yeah, I know. Just thought you might wanna stay out a bit longer." he always loses doesn't he?

"No. You're not the only one I've seen out here today."

[konohasuperstar]

"Was I the best one out of all you saw then?" he grinned.

"Of course not, the other one was a Naruto."

[konohasuperstar]

"I sure get beat easily. You know, I kinda do have yet to meet that guy for aaaaall I hear of him." he fell into step downwind.

"There are a few. Maybe you'll get lucky and spot one, mm?"

[konohasuperstar]

"Ahaha, so I gotta get lucky huh? Who knows! Can't wait to see if they're different from Menma."
