"Aaah! Get back here!" he'd let some concentration slip, and the paper had been blown off by the wind. He groaned as it flew far, far off, and pouted. He'd done good holding it for the best part of two hours, too!

He blinked then, eyes widening. There -was- a paper nearby! Not his paper, but any clean one was good, and this one was laying on the grass, all really bright and yellow! It demanded to be picked up, and Sasuke did!

She looked away, tense before trying to tug away again insistently.

"Do you wish to be stuck like this?" He made no move to release her wrist, only tilting his head to try to meet her eyes. "Sasuke, please."

She just grimaced at that, not meeting his eye at all as she just shook her head. But she didn't want to see herself either... And being with Neji then was a bit too much for her then.

He sighed, not about to let her go, but understanding that she wasn't going to go willingly. "Please forgive me," he murmured -- then swept her up into his arms, holding on securely, but rather gently. "This is for your own good."

For an instant her eyes were comically wide before she started to struggle, shaking her head and trying to escape, "Let me go!"

"Sasuke, please, you're acting like a child." Rather ridiculous to say when she actually was a child at this moment, but...

She huffed and looked away, but at least she stopped squirming at that.
"First, I can walk. Second, I don't exactly want to see myself or what he's doing to me."

He gave her another look, then set her down, though he made no move to release her hand. "I'm certain that he's taking advantage of his increased height and strength," he murmured with some small, dry amusement. "You were eight years old once, were you not?"

She frowned and shrunk even more, never even once making eye contact, "... Disorienting."

"I went through the same thing, believe me," he answered, huffing through his nose and starting forward again, waiting for her to catch up. "Though I'll admit, the age and height difference is not something I have experience with."

"Tired... From a substitution," She grumbled, shaking her head and just showing how uncomfortable the whole thing was.

"You're currently eight years old," he remarked, again sounding almost amused. "Please try not to be so disappointed in yourself. There aren't many eight-year-olds who possess the Chakra for a single substitution."

"I forgot what being this weak felt like," It seemed like she wasn't listening, shaking her head as she just kept... Well, staring at her own small hands.

He looked down at her, sighing quietly through his nose, before dropping down in front of her again to try to meet his eyes. "You are one of the strongest women I have had the fortune of knowing, Sasuke."

"... No, I'm not."

She loathed to admit it. But it was still true; so long as Naruto still had the kyuubi inside him... Her...

"Then you'll work to get stronger. Am I wrong?"

There was no answer, but she didn't exactly deny it either. Neji knew that she would, all things considered...

It was so strange to talk to her when she looked like this... best to return as quickly as possible, in the hopes that this would just end without much fuss. He rose to his feet and continued to make his way toward Mikoto's.

Silent until they were home, Sasuke finally stepped through the door and, once her shoes were kicked off, she looked around and ran ahead, seeking out her older self. Fine, she'd just get this over with.

"Sasuke?" he removed his own shoes by reflex, padding swiftly behind her.

After going to the kitchen and eating all the tomatoes he could -and this body could eat even more, it was awesome!- he'd gone ahead in this slightly revealing but he didn't really mind outfit, off to the backyard of course. No better place to train than there.

This was so great, because he could move so fast, and his sharingan was even more awesome, and he could climb trees, kick at a branch and then jump after it, the slash at the small thing with a kunai and break it in two!
Then? He could go back up the tree and kick another small bit of branch down again, and this time try to pin it to the other tree with a shuriken, and then try with two at once, and it was awesome that he really could do that, and even if he did a movement too slow, it didn't mind cause really, that sharingan was even better than his own and he could just recuperate and go from there.

Sasuke -was- having the best time EVER, laughing and slashing at thing, or throwing shurikens.

Sasuke had run out again without her shoes when she heard the sounds of training, and her expression was a combination of 'shocked' and 'livid'. That was what she looked like? And... Her body!!

So that was what her laughter sounded like? A glance to the younger of the two, a kind of vague hope that someday, something would happen where she would be able to do that herself.

"Sasuke-kun, that's enough." He stepped forward, past her, to make sure the other one knew that yes, he was referring to him.

"Ehhee~ Yaaaay!" yup, he -was- having a grand time.

...and then he heard the voice, and was just used to be referred as such. "Neji-sensei?" he glanced that way and spotted himself, or at least... his body. Uh-oh. Fun's over?

"Comin~" he still sounded ungodly happy, and gave an overjoyed giggle, jumping off the tree, flipping around in mid-air and landing on his feet. Oh BOY did he like this body! He probably couldn't keep it though. "Heya older-girl-me~" he gave a very cheerful wave as he ran over to join them.

Clearly he was the only one happy with that. Sasuke herself was clearly uncomfortable and not really wanting to look at her own body at all. It was... Too strange. That way, it was far too bizarre.
