She'd only walked out of her rooms and ended up in some strange village. It was most decidedly not the home of the Kazekage, where she had been just two seconds before.

Temari was already tired. She'd just spent time watching over Kankurou after he'd been poisoned and then she'd gone to retrieve Gaara and bring him back to Sunagakure. She just wanted to sleep. Surely the fates weren't that cruel, where they? At least she had her tessen with her.

With an annoyed sigh, she started walking into the village proper, determined to find out what was going on and how she could go the hell home!

She looked at his face closely. He was happier than normal. "Who are you sleeping with? Sakura?"

"How can you even tell? What are you? And NO! She'd break every bone in my body or something before that, even!!"

She raised one eyebrow at the blond boy before giggling. "You can't possibly believe that everyone's as virtuous as that Hyuuga girl, right? I mean, I heard you trained with Jiraiya-sama for that time you were away. He's the biggest pervert in the entirety of the elemental nations!"

Temari put a hand on his shoulder as he seemed ready to hyperventilate. "I was just teasing about Sakura though. She seemed far too attached to Uchiha even the last time I saw her."

"...virtuous?" what did that word mean again? "And yeah, well, I trained with Ero-sennin, and he did show me awesome ninjustsu!" he snorted. No insulting his sensei.. he can do it himself!

"Oh, uh, yeah... teasing. Right, ahaha." he gave a sheepish grin.
He wasn't teasing, she WOULD break him in two before haring a bed!

"You don't know what virtuous means, do you?" She huffed out a heavy sigh. "Look, I'm not some blushing virgin like Neji's cousin. I can tell when someone's having sex and enjoying themselves."

She could tell he wasn't as relaxed as he was trying to be. "Hm, yeah, she might do that though, wouldn't she?"

"Well, uh... geez... m,not really gonna talk about other people yaknow, at least not in... uh.. that whole sex thing. Besides, it shouldn't be anyone's business." he muttered.
No he wasn't going to point out Hinata may be blushing, but was no virgin anymore.

She shrugged, not really too concerned with just who Naruto slept with. "That's fine. Anyway, where are you living?"

"Oh, there's this huge house Sasuke's mom got, and a big majority of us are over there! It's pretty nifty actually, ahaha! Plus, the cupboards are always filled with ramen~" so of course this was a big yay for him.

"Sasuke's mom? I thought he was an orphan..." She blinked and then remembered the conversation she had with Sakumo. "Yeah, right, dead are alive here... So, anymore dead people who aren't dead?"

"Uuuuh... who knows?" he shook his head. "I guess we kinda just learn to take things and, uh, people as they come here.. No enemies yet though, good thing."

She nodded. "But my brothers aren't here, and that irks me! I mean, I've been with them since they were born... It's just wrong that I'm by myself for real here."

"Maybe they're gonna wind up here sometime~ If not.. there's lotsa others you acn make friends with... better than Sai too." he nodded.

She just looked at Naruto for a minute. "Do you remember how Gaara used to be? Yeah, better company than that Sai guy... Although, Sakumo's not so bad. He said there were a lot of Uchihas running around here though. Is there a Tsunade-sama running around playing Hokage?"

"Gaara's a great guy! I mean yeah after I rammed my fist into him, he got better... but yeah! As for the baa-chan, nah. We got Uchiha Itachi as Kage here though~ He's great too!" he nodded.

She smacked him on the back of his head with one of her hands. "I've owed you that for a while now. But, yeah, he's better now, thanks for that!" She gave him a bright smile before blinking into confusion. "Um, an S-ranked criminal is the leader? When did that happen?"

"HEY!" he cried out at the smack, rubbing the back of his head. "..what wazzat for!?"

..oh..he had to explain that too. "Oh yeah, uh..this is where it gets weird okay? There's not just dead people, there,s also multiples sometimes, and not all from uh.. what did they call it? Space-time dimension timeline thing. He's from some other place where Sasuke's a medic, and I'm awesome with seals or such. But yeah, he's a good guy~"

"That, Naruto, was for not getting there in time to save Gaara, but thanks for bringing him back." She gave him a watery smile, trying not to think about how Gaara had actually died.

"O~kay, I guess that makes some sort of sense." If Naruto thought the guy was a good person, he probably was. He'd been right about Gaara, after all.

He had shaken then... briefly.
He did remember, with cruel accuracy, how it had felt... when he had seen Gaara at the floor of the Akatsuki hideout, and that Deidara guy sitting on him. His blood almost boiled again. "The only thing I could do..was help granny Chiyo, cause... she was helpin Gaara.." he closed his eyes, clenchinga fist. "It was all I could do.." he did get there, as fast as he could... and even urged everyone on on the way. If he could have gone even faster, he would have.

"But yeah, he really is a great guy, that Kage. Don't you worry about him."

"I know. And I'm glad that Gaara's got a friend like you. It wasn't easy for him, you know, to realise that he didn't have to end up like he did. Dad really was pretty cruel to him, and it was hard for Kankurou and I to be actual siblings with him. Until recently."

She gave him a bright smile. "I'll take your word on it."

"Ehehe~ So there ya go. This village, Mich no sato, it's actually what I'm gettin to call home. I'll protect it like it's due too!" he gave a firm nod and a huge, confident grin.

"I guess this place is home until we figure out how to get back to our own time, yeah?" She looked up at the cliffside where she'd found her new place and then pointed. "That's where I'm staying. You can come visit, I guess, so long as you bring tea!"

"Oh... yeah,w ell.." eh didn't want to return. "Over there huh? Cool~ I'll make sure to come n'see sometime!" he chuckled. "Looks like you get a nice scenery too~"

She could tell that he was hesitant about returning for some reason. It had to be the girl he was sleeping with. Maybe she was from one of these freaky timelines and he'd lose her if they returned? Although, that didn't really seem likely for this idiot. He was pretty straight-forward.

"Yeah, you can bring your lover too. I don't mind. And the scenery's great! The village looks pretty awesome from up above."

"hm.. if everyone else makes such a big deal out of us bein together and all, s,not gonna be good.." he had a few bad memories about... jealous people. "..tsk." he shook his head to clear it.

"Anyways, I'll see about it, don't worry~"

"What's there not to like about the girl you're with, hm? Unless you're seeing one of the versions of Uchiha Sasuke running around here? That might be a little tricky."
