Today felt like a magnificent day.

No, really, when ever had he started thinking like this? He felt so much lighter since that day, even with the knowledge of the future being as ludicrous as it was. He had, after all, another knowledge to counterbalance it.
After breakfast was an affair that was taken care of -oh, and he would need to buy bread once he got back home- he washed the plate and teacup he used and left them to dry before putting on his boots, coat and giving a light snicker as he wound and then tied his scarf, a few memories drifting by him.

And so, he went out of the now-still appartment, taking out the frowning dragon keychain and looking at it fondly for just a half-second before locking the door, pocketing the key and... nearly geting some sort of breacelet dropped on his head.

There was a blink as the trinket was kept from hitting the ground, a practiced hand swiftly picking it up in mid-air as he glanced up... and then his eyes widened in shock. So many birds, so many vivid colors. He couldn't help but stare, briefly mesmerized by the scene.
Then, there was the missive with the bracelet, which he unfloded to read... and the white eyes narrowed.

It was quite enticing, but also.... quite suspicious. The Hokage should already be aware of this, but in case he was not, and because he wished advice on what to do, there was nothing better but to ask him his advice, if he had any orders.
He picked up one more of the similar notes along with a seashell on his way to where Tenten had pointed him to the Hokage's dwelling.

"What do you mean more care? It makes me sound like I am quite neglectful and favoring things other than my own health. I have not... or at least not past this particular clash." he sighed. "...but..still.." he reached out to trace her lips witha finger. "Thank you for worrying. I will be watching out..."

She kissed his finger and sighed quietly, giving him another look. "You'd better, or next time it'll be me throwing you into a bed like this. Got it?"

"W-what? You wouldn't!" and really, as much as there were other ways for him to end up here? He would -never- lose a fight, so... If it was against her, he would not even retaliate, and he doubted kaiten would save him from her fury.

"I would, since that's the best way to teach you a lesson." She shook her head and kissed his cheek, brushing her fingers through his hair again. "And I'll put your hair in pigtails on top of it."

"...hair in-- if you're asking me what hurts more between broken ribs or bruised ego? Hrmm.. I wonder..." he could only stare with slight fear in his eyes. He could pretend she would not, but... she would...

"It'd be cute, Neji-sama~" She pressed another kiss to his cheek, grinning all the while. "But this way you'll make sure not to do anything else to get yourself hurt, right?"

"I assure you it will not happen again" he gulped back a lump. He really could -not- decide what was the worst fate after all! "The fact you are kissing me while threatening is also quite a toll on the nerves.."

She laughed again, sitting back and resting her chin on her palm. "You mean you don't like it, Neji-sama?"

"Oh, ah, the kissing, yes, but doing it while throwing threats around is stightly unsettling..." No, really, where was this tension coming from?

"It's just a threat to play with your hair. Is that so bad?" She tilted her head with another smile, then leaned in to gently press her lips to his own again for a longer, still-chaste kiss.

Play with his hair? "I wonder if pigtails should be allowed..." he blinked, but then, well, she kissed him. It always felt different from one time to the next...

"I think they should be~" she murmured against his lips, fingers stroking over his ear. "But you've got to heal before I do anything like that, okay?"

[your_destiny]

"You think they should..."well, at least he needed to heal before anything else? "W-well.. if that's all it takes to make you happy.." he murmured under his breath. "I suppose it should be all right as long as no one else sees..." he pursed his lips, unable to fight back the mental image. Oh dear gods. "I doubt you would drop the matter either way." so why not save hismelf the trouble and accept?

She nodded firmly, lips staying curved into that smile as she brushed her fingers over his ear again and sat back. "I'll let you play with mine too, if you want~" she pointed out, though it wasn't really a compromise. "I don't even have to heal first, you just have to get well enough to be allowed to go home."

[your_destiny]

"W-what? I don't even..." he stopped himself and huffed. "How about you make the tea in exchange?"
...was he looking forward to healing or not after all? "is this supposed to make me wish to heal slower though?"

"Yeah, alright, but you know I'd do that anyway, don't you?" She let her fingers curl into his hair again and tugged it lightly. "And no! You mean you don't like the feeling of me running my fingers through your hair, Neji-sama~?"

[your_destiny]

"Ah, I... very much do enjoy it, yes, although I am not exactly certain pigtails will look that good." he gave a worried glance. "I assume you wish to see for yourself..."

[ministeelbuns]

"Yes, yes I do." She sat back, letting her hands fall to her lap. "I'll put my hair in pigtails too, then we'll match." Not that she would be caught dead matching Neji out in public, but in his apartment? Yes.

He stared, and obviously his thoughts matched the mental image...
..and he laughed. "Oh by the heavens.. ahah!" no, he couldn't stop. "Oh my lungs hurt, but.. ahaha!" he couldn't stop.

No really, this would be just priceless.

Her face screwed up as though she might smack him, but then -- she couldn't help but laugh herself, only belatedly covering her mouth with her hand to try to stifle it. It was a pretty funny thought.

Once the laughter died down to chuckling, he shook his head. "Somehow, it feels things will be far from boring... with you in my life, now." he reached out to claim one of her hand, stroking the side of it and the knuckles he could reach with a thumb, a gentle, lightly humoured smile on his lips.

"It's true. What did you even used to do in your free time, before you had me, huh? Meditate all day?"

[your_destiny]

"Yes. Is there something wrong with such a way to spend time?" whenever Gai-sensei wasn't training them into the ground, or he wasn't honing his skills, he would meditate.

"Boring," she teased lightly, shaking her head and resting her chin on her palm again. "At least now you have someone to have tea parties with, huh?" Like a little kid~
