Honest, but probably not something Neji would buy. She shook her head before making to move somewhere else, anywhere out of town before anyone else could see her like that.

"In any case, skipping out on training? Very unlike you, Sasuke-kun." Neji moved alongside him, giving him another frown. "Come, we'll return home before your siblings wonder where you've disappeared to."

"I'm not going back right now," Sasuke said insistently, shaking her head again before she tried to run. Damn it why was her current body so slow!?

His own strides kept up easily, pacing the boy and ever-so-slowly starting to try and herd him back toward the house. Very strange, indeed. "You're not acting yourself, and your movements are strange. Tell me what is wrong, please, Sasuke-kun."

She shook her head again, refusing to look at Neji before she performed a substitution to get away... And found a lot more of her chakra exhausted than she'd like from it. Was she really that weak when she was a child?

Substitution? That was a new move, and certainly one Neji hadn't taught him. Kakashi, again?

A flare of his own Chakra for the Byakugan, and he was immediately in pursuit once he spotted the younger boy's Chakra. Something was definitely wrong here.

By the time he caught up, he had his doubts. "It is Sasuke-kun, isn't it?"

She hated being as slow as she was in her little self's body. Neji shouldn't have been able to keep up so easily. Finally she sighed, answering, "Not the same Sasuke that you're used to, no."

Well, not the same one that belonged in that body.

"I thought not." So that left the question of just who... "One of the papers, yes?"

There were a few guesses he could make, based on the attitude, but he was loath to suggest without more information. "Then may I ask with whom I am speaking?"

"... Uchiha Sasuke."

His voice went dry. "Really. In this village, that certainly narrows it down by a significant amount, hm?"

Okay she was officially annoyed. Without warning, she elaborated.

"The one you had sex with."

His cheeks immediately flushed a dark red in spite of himself, and he was quick to look around to make sure no one had heard. Then he grabbed him -- her? -- by the arm and immediately crouched to her level.

"I'd appreciate you not say such a thing while you look like a seven year old, Sasuke."

She flushed a little too - both at Neji coming so close to her when she was that tiny and the fact that she felt so weak being held like that - as she just kept glaring up at him.

"At least you know which one I am now."

"Without a doubt." That flush certainly wasn't disappearing as he kept her hand trapped within his own, for all the world looking like he was just holding the child's hand. "Come, we'll find the youngest Sasuke before he wrecks havoc in your body, if this is anything like what happened to me previously."

"... Who?"

"With whom was my unfortunate encounter?" He shook his head with a lighter frown, not entirely sure what expression to make. "Ino." He tugged, intending to have her follow him whether he wanted to or not.

Her eyes widened briefly as she was starting to get dragged before she dug her feet into the ground, looking away from him as she did. No she did not want to go there, not right now, seeing herself when she wasn't looking at a mirror was too weird.

He only sighed through his nose as he stopped and looked down to her, again lowering himself to her level. "Sasuke, the only way I was able to get out of this with Ino was through time together and finally physical contact. Please do not be stubborn."

She looked away, tense before trying to tug away again insistently.

"Do you wish to be stuck like this?" He made no move to release her wrist, only tilting his head to try to meet her eyes. "Sasuke, please."

She just grimaced at that, not meeting his eye at all as she just shook her head. But she didn't want to see herself either... And being with Neji then was a bit too much for her then.

He sighed, not about to let her go, but understanding that she wasn't going to go willingly. "Please forgive me," he murmured -- then swept her up into his arms, holding on securely, but rather gently. "This is for your own good."

For an instant her eyes were comically wide before she started to struggle, shaking her head and trying to escape, "Let me go!"

"Sasuke, please, you're acting like a child." Rather ridiculous to say when she actually was a child at this moment, but...

She huffed and looked away, but at least she stopped squirming at that.
"First, I can walk. Second, I don't exactly want to see myself or what he's doing to me."
