Those words... She rather enjoyed him... being here... They could mean so much, if he only would let them.
He took in a shaky breath, a pleasant shudder coursing through his spine as her fingers trailed back after hanging upon his lower back. "...does that... give me permission to?"
She stayed quiet for a moment after that, fingers hovering against his shoulders. A glance toward the setting sun outside before she nodded once. Her hands trailed down his shoulders to trace his arms before she finally forced herself to draw back, resting her weight as she sat comfortably back on her knees. "If you wish, I will not stop you."
He gave a long purr, allowing his eyes to close. "hmm... going to be the best night ever." of course some nights could be above and beyond this, but... he knew not to expect much. He did, however, move to the edge of the futon to leave her enough space since.... technically it was hers and all...?
She flushed lightly as he moved, wavering a moment, before she pushed herself to her feet. "Would you like an extra blanket? I do not mind should you wish to sleep beneath the covers." Improper... she swallowed hard and crossed her arms lightly over her chest.
"hnn... blanket.." oh right, that would be the sensible thing. Yes. "If you have one." he forced his eyes open, trailing up her to spot that flush. "Reminds me when Kakashi-sensei said us men sharing a room was team-bonding..." he always wondered why Sakura wasn't team-bonding. "...the loser got the floor." he snickered. "Something about building character.
"We had something similar." She nodded once, moving quickly to a closet in the hall to retrieve her extra blanket. "Though it was for the entire team." Sharing a bed with Tian had been... uncomfortable, but Gai had let her know in no uncertain terms that if he woke up and found Neji sleeping on the floor, they'd all be running laps until he got tired.
She returned and unfolded the blanket, kneeling to tuck it over him. "Will your mother not be concerned, that you have not returned home?"
"Concerned? She knows I can take care of myself~ Besides, the smaller me is going to be glad, it means he gets more tomatoes to eat." he gave a light chuckle. "...hmm... this... does feel nice though~" he shifted to get more comfortable, nuzzling onto his corner of pillow.
...he had to say, -he- certainly would have liked if Kakashi-sensei had made them share beds instead.... Ah, Sakura-chan... so close yet so far.
She stayed kneeling there beside him, rather unnecessarily smoothing the blanket further. "You may take the entire futon," she murmured quietly, drawing her hands back and pushing herself to her feet. "Sleep well, Sasuke."
She had her bedroll that she'd walked into Michi with, after all. It was early for her yet; some meditation, a light dinner, all things she could do without waking him.
"Sleep well... when you do too." he only stretched halfway, rolled over onto the space he occupied since she wasn't exactly minding him taking the whole thing before finally tumbling into sleep. His body felt amazingly loose. Surrounded by that futon's clinging smells and with this relaxed body, he would doubtlessly have the best night he ever had.
As things were, he was quite unlikely to wake before the sun rose... and if he did, he may not wish to move from here.
And do all that, she did, only going to bed a few hours after he, and yet still waking at sunrise as was customary. For a moment, she was baffled as to why she was in her bedroll inside, but then -- ah. That's right, Sasuke was in her bed in the living room, while she'd retired to her own room with her bedroll.
A sigh as she rolled over and climbed to her feet, still clad in her loose yukata for sleeping. A shower after preparing something to eat, yes... thankfully it was a day where she didn't have obligations to go in to work. So unused was she to someone staying in her home that she didn't give her state of undress a second thought as she moved past him asleep in the living room to enter the kitchen, meaning to prepare rice and eggs.
Sasuke had also woken, in fact a short while before her. He'd lounged in, surrounded by this magnificent smell, unshifting as sounds entered his ears. He could tell without opening his eyes. She was getting up... walking to the bathroom... running a shower.
Oh yes, those thoughts invading his mind then. Well, he was ahealthy teenager wasn't he?
Once he heard her footsteps getting closer, he opened his eyes to take in the sight. "Good morning~" he purred, baring his neck as he stretched his body. "Hmmmmmm~ You've slept well, yes?"
Her hair was still wet, unbound and trailing down her back as she flinched with surprise, wheeling and making sure her yukata was completely closed, face flushed.
"Sasuke..." Her forehead was still uncovered, too, leaving her feeling uncomfortably exposed. "Yes, thank you," she answered stiffly, wanting for all the world to retreat back to her room and fetch bandages to cover it. "I am surprised you slept the night. Would you care for breakfast?"
"Sorry for surprising you~" His Neji at home never cared to cover that seal, so he wasn't even staring or acting like it was even there. He thought she was that flustered only because she couldn't possibly be suitably prepeared for him so early in the morning.
"I'll have whatever you're willing to make." he assured her, reaching to at least put his purple shirt on, collecting the other. "You don't mind me using your shower, meanwhile...?"
"Ah... no, of course not." Again she fixed the lapels of her yukata before moving past him to grab her single spare towel, handing it to him without looking. "There should still be some hot water left."
While he was there, she disappeared into her room to wrap her forehead before returning to the kitchen. This, then, was an easier routine; she merely had to double the amount she would make for herself, and wait for him to finish. Having a male over and showering in her home... She flushed, but did her best to ignore it. It did not matter, in the end.
"Thank you~" he accepted the towel witha too-enthused tone for something so small. He -did- still feel immensely good from her acupressure the evening before.
Thankfully for him, there -was- enough warm water left. After finishing his shower and toroughly drying himself, toweling the excess water from that hair of his, he kept going back to pleasant thoughts relating to either here or back home... and women.
It was somewhat saddening that this shower cleansed him of this clinging scent... but then again, he -did- get something even better, because he had smelled that soap on her too! Oh yes, life was beautiful! Once done, he went over to the kitchen. "Got any place to toss that towel in to wash?" he had missed any such thing as washing basket if there were any.
Forehead now properly wrapped, she at least felt a little more comfortable around him. She was just mixing the cooked egg in with the rice when he emerged, and she only glanced back for a moment before going to finish preparing breakfast. "I will take it, if you give me a moment," she answered, spooning the rice-and-egg into a bowl and setting it on her battered and slightly crooked kitchen table. "It is simple, yet contains enough protein for a morning training routine."
With that, she moved in to take the towel, still rather bewildered that all of this was happening.
He did not comment on the wrapped forehead, merely giving it a single glance. He did not mind waiting for her to retrieve the towel, and once he had his hands free, he took it as a signto sit. He did, but did not start on the food right away, since the host should, first.
"Proteins, those are the important fuel for youthful energy." he recalled his sensei's teachings. Him? He was not bewildered at all, it was some sort of nice dream-like thing... except his dreams most likely would have had a more grand breakfast, and at least a good morning kiss?
She shuddered, lightly; that was indeed something Gai would say, and hearing it in Sasuke's voice was all the more disturbing. After putting away the towel with her other things to be cleaned, she cleared her throat and took a seat across from him, taking both chopsticks and more thoroughly mixing her own bowl.
"Indeed. I trust my futon was comfortable enough for you?" No sooner had she taken her seat that the kettle whistled, leaving her sighing and pushing herself up again to pour tea for them both.
"I think my body wouldn't have mided sleeping on coals. I still feels all nice and sorta tingly~" no, really, never before had he felt this intensely good. Everything was smooth and flowing. "How much do people shed for this?" he wondered, dark eyes going to her. "This had gotta fetch about... 5500 ryo I'd wager?" and this purely by randomly assuming a number. "Professional services often havea high cost attached since it deals in quality and full customer satisfaction."
"Between five thousand and six thousand, yes," she confirmed, taking a moment to stretch her fingers and look down at them thoughtfully before starting to eat. "It is more commonly priced according to amount of time spent."
She gazed down at her rice and took another bite, avoiding his gaze. "I am pleased that you found it satisfactory."
"Satifactory? I wasn't even expecting this~" he gave a chuckle. "I haven't felt that great in years, and I actually thought I was feeling great all that time too... er... except when Kakashi-sensei found out I used my charingan to skip training, I sorta wanted to die after the week he was through with me and having me catch up on everything." he shuddered. "Aahha~ guess it was better to just do what he asked all that time instead of regretting it later."
Konoha certainly did get a special presentation of the last Uchiha walking on his hands for fifty laps, with Menma sitting on top of his feet and talking his hear off about knowing he'd get caught sooner or later...
She laughed quietly at his words and only flashed him a brief smile before returning to her food. "Perhaps it is something you should receive more often, then."
A breath of hesitation, then she turned to her tea and took a sip, using it to partially cover her face for a moment. "If you would like, I would not object to doing such a thing for you perhaps once a week." Finally taking a second sip, she set the cup down and raised an eyebrow at him, as casually as possible.
"Eh? No way, don't laugh! That's cruel! You're saying I wasn't punsihed often? HA! It's cause they didn't see throuh the rest~" because he had more of those tricks...? "Nah, joking~ Menma's made sure I wasn't trying to get any easy way out. Plus, how lame would I look as the last of my clan if I did more of that simple trickery? Kakashi-sensei did have some good points."
The suggestion nearly made his jaw drop, he actually put back the rice that was halfway to his mouth. "W-wha? once a week?" Was she serious? "You mean.. cause you do need practice, huh?" he couldn't fathom any other reason. No, he could afthom... but if he admitted it to himself he might get hurt in the end. "If you're willing, who would I be to refuse?"
She couldn't help but laugh again at his protests, covering her mouth with her hand as she set the tea down. Good, that he did not try to weasel his way out of training. After all, if she had had to go through Gai's strict training, it only seemed fair that he not be permitted to avoid it, either.
Speaking of avoiding, she avoided his gaze again as she went back to eating, still feigning casualness. "I would have to draw the line at being denied my bed for one day out of every week, but should you manage not to fall asleep every time, perhaps I would be willing to do so." Strategically ignoring the question that she might need more practice, because, well, as he should be able to feel, that was something the natural genius really didn't need.
Indeed, he knew she did not need practice, so why... would she even suggest this? It made little sense unless his mind wandered other places. "Oh, ahahaha~ sorry" he gave a sheepish grin. "I'll probably get used to feeling like this, I swear! I just thought I wouldn't be able to get up anyways so I thought it'd be netter to sleep in there. I can probably think of a solution if the only issue is me taking up your futon, though..." which implied getting a bedroll of his own and bringing it over. "All I would need is a 2 meters by 3 storage space~" he had yet to eat more himself, possibly because he was just talking so much.
