[OPEN] Weapons Exercise

Just because she was in a strange location didn't mean she was about to take a vacation... Especially not after being beaten so thoroughly by that Neji. The thought still was enough to freeze her blood, the slightest threads of panic starting to set in before her lip firms and she gathers her Chakra in her feet, leaping straight up into the air. For today's training, at least, she'd left the scroll leaning against one of the short wooden posts simulating a human body. Instead, a long katana shimmered in the late afternoon sunlight as she twists in midair, flipping over with a harsh kiai to split the log neatly in two, then turn, weaving her way through another weapon's form, twisting and pivoting as she fought enemies only she could see. Sweat dripped from her brow, the twin buns of her hair disheveled as she panted for breath, unwilling or unable to quit as she keeps pushing herself.

First that Sasuke, then Neji. She kept finding herself forced into situations where she couldn't fight at range. If she were ever going to advance, she needed to get past her current level. They were geniuses, but -- well, if Lee had proven anything, it was that hard work really could beat a genius.

The question would be if she could ever get to that point herself.

He slid his hand up, easing the pressure on her hair by a little, but likely not enough, as he moved quicker, trembling over her as he eased his bite to pant against her skin. It didn't last much longer, couldn't really, not at that level of intensity, and he pressed hard and tight against her, groaning lowly as he finally went quiet.

Her nails dig in tight against him as she throws her head back, letting out a shuddering, almost scream of an outcry in contrast to his own groan from the sheer intensity of it all as she finally hits her own release, hips stuttering as her legs wrap tightly around him. All but collapsing back against the counter, she can't speak at first until she opens her eyes and flinches. "You're-- Itachi, you're bleeding, I'm sorry--!!"

He unwound his fingers slowly from her hair as he uncurled, leaning heavily into her and the counter as tried to catch his breath, blinking his eyes open to stare at her in dazed bewilderment. What? Was something wrong?

Why wasn't he concerned? He had to be able to feel it! She squirms beneath him, reaching to touch one of his arms, fingertip coming away with just the smallest bit of blood. "Are you okay?"

His gaze drifted to her fingers and he made a small sound of surprise, baffled where that could have come from. "Mm?"

She just shakes her head and sighs, resting back against the counter where she could and letting her eyes close. "Never mind," she murmurs, trailing her fingertips up his back and trying to hug him in close. "I'll trim my nails next time, okay?"

His voice was incredibly husky, not to mention bewildered, when he spoke. "I'm bleeding?"

She shivers at that tone, eyes cracking half open as her fingertips brush gently over his arms. "Mmhm. My nails," she repeats, huffing a small, helpless laugh through her nose as she rests her head back again.

He peered at his arms and then hummed, leaning down to nuzzle her. "Felt nice. You okay?" He realized, about this point, that he'd been rather violent with her.

She just shakes her head again with another quiet laugh, wrapping her fingers in his hair to tug him up closer. "Mm... Well, I'm not Sasuke, but that was a little much for the counter," she murmurs with a small grin.

"I'll never live down mentioning that will I?" It was a murmur as he finally eased back, shaky but stable enough to actually stand.

She laughs again, wincing and shifting back so she can try to sit up. "Probably not," she answers with a smile, resting her hand easily against the counter.

He watched her, then reached out, once he was sure he wouldn't send them both to the floor, and carefully picked her up after properly disengaging.

She lets out a small squeak of surprise, arms reflexively going around his neck as she holds on tight. "What're you doing?"

"Picking you up." It was a murmur, and he was very careful as he moved away from the counter, kneeling down by one of the chairs to set her in it.

She winces again as she's set down, but doesn't remove her arms from around his neck. "You know, if we were just going over here, I could've walked," she points out.

"Hmmm, no." He leaned partially into her lap, looking up at her. "This is fine, and the rice should be done."

Instead, she slips to the floor and shifts her arms around his waist instead, nuzzling in against his shoulder. "The rice can wait."

He blinked at her sliding into his lap, then shifted his hold on her accordingly. "I put you in a chair to keep you off the floor you know."

"The floor's about as comfortable as the counter," she points out with another smile, content to just hold him for a moment. "Besides, you're here."

"Mm and I wasn't going to back off of you." He nuzzled her temple, then down to her throat, breathing in deeply as he stroked his fingers up her spine.

She inhales and shifts in closer, relaxing comfortably in against him and pressing a soft kiss to the side of his throat. "You still have blood on you."

He hummed a soft affirmative and tilted his head slightly and kissed out over her shoulder. "It bothers you?"

"It doesn't bother you?" She blinks and just shakes her head, turning her head to press another small kiss to his collarbone and hold him in closer. "I guess you weren't kidding about the whole 'liking-it-when-people-make-you-bleed, huh?"

"It's only happened once before, but I didn't mind it then." It was a murmur, and he shifted slightly, rubbing his cheek against her as he slowly kneaded her back.
