[OPEN] Weapons Exercise

Just because she was in a strange location didn't mean she was about to take a vacation... Especially not after being beaten so thoroughly by that Neji. The thought still was enough to freeze her blood, the slightest threads of panic starting to set in before her lip firms and she gathers her Chakra in her feet, leaping straight up into the air. For today's training, at least, she'd left the scroll leaning against one of the short wooden posts simulating a human body. Instead, a long katana shimmered in the late afternoon sunlight as she twists in midair, flipping over with a harsh kiai to split the log neatly in two, then turn, weaving her way through another weapon's form, twisting and pivoting as she fought enemies only she could see. Sweat dripped from her brow, the twin buns of her hair disheveled as she panted for breath, unwilling or unable to quit as she keeps pushing herself.

First that Sasuke, then Neji. She kept finding herself forced into situations where she couldn't fight at range. If she were ever going to advance, she needed to get past her current level. They were geniuses, but -- well, if Lee had proven anything, it was that hard work really could beat a genius.

The question would be if she could ever get to that point herself.

Some confusion finally broke through the rest. "I would honor what I had already chosen to do."

She exhales a brief, almost exasperated sigh through her nose as she finally looks away from his eyes, though it's clear she's pleased by his answers. A hand pulls back from his neck to thump softly against his chest. "You get what I'm asking you, right?"

"I don't intend to make the mistake of presuming." He glanced to her hand, then back to her face.

Another sigh through her nose, almost a snort, and she presses her nose to his chest. "I'm asking you... to let me stay with you. For as long as physically possible. You get it, right?"

There was another of those long, cautious pauses. "Maybe?"

This time she looks up, and even though there's no masking the nervousness of rejection, she isn't about to back down. "Itachi. I'm asking you to be my sparring partner. My friend. My l-lover." She scowls at the flush that crosses her face at that word, but presses on, thumping her fist against his chest with every further clarification. "And only me for the last one."

"...In that case if anyone does come around who has maintained their interest, I'm leaving -you- to deal with them." He paused a beat, hesitant. "The only person who I can even imagine trying is a particular Hinata."

Her lips curl into an almost sadistic smirk. "Oh, I will," she promises, a particular glint in her eye hinting that she would do it with pleasure. She goes still at the mention of the Hyuuga heiress, starting to draw back the slightest bit as she looks at him. "What about you? Would you want me to drive her away from you?"

He hesitated, then flushed, gaze skating away. "While there is something there she is ah... I don't wish to seem shallow."

Her eyes narrow slightly as she pauses, watching his face with just the slightest amount of suspicion. "What? Just spit it out, Itachi."

He looked back to her, face still pink. "You have a much nicer body than she does and ah... you're far bolder. It's more appealing."

Her entire body goes tense, expecting to hear something about how pretty or how meek and kind the Hyuuga girl was, but that -- she goes completely still, face slowly flushing a dark red as she stares at him, mouth slightly open in pure shock.

If anything, her reaction made him flush more deeply. "I don't doubt Sasuke would have agreed with me either given, ah, the question." He moved a hand, trying to find words to try to make it better. "She's just... too much. I feel a bit guilty that that's part of why, but, well, as I said. Too much, not sleek enough. She's nice but, well, while I do like her she's very... accepting. She needs someone more ah... appreciative of that I think than I could actually offer in any case so... I'll leave her to you yes?"

On one level, she can't help but feel like she should be vaguely insulted, but the rest of it far outweighs anything that, for anyone else, she would say was fact. A beat, and that expression of shock slowly morphs into a smile, though her flush doesn't fade. "I'd love to," she all but purrs, leaning up so he can feel her breath against his ear.

Pulling back, she returns both arms around his neck again and asks, "Well? Is something like that...? Would you want it?"

He shivered, looking at her through his lashes as he slid the hand still at her side around her waist. "I... think I would like that."

Her flush subsides a bit, until her cheeks are only flushed with pleasure as her grip tightens in his hair. Without needing further confirmation, she just lunges up for a hard kiss.

He made a soft noise of surprise, lips parting without any hesitation as he tightened his hold around her waist, letting out a breath as his other hand slid into her hair.

Her lips curve into a smile, threatening to ruin the kiss, but she doesn't relent, pushing herself against him in an attempt to drive him back against the counter, fingernails scraping over his neck.

He shuddered, stumbling at the lunge, but he wasn't far, and that was enough to almost tip him back into the sink before the hand near her shoulder darted back to catch the edge of the corner with a soft noise of almost protest. Mostly surprise.

She only presses harder at that sound, trusting him to stop her if he really wanted her to. It was his own responsibility to keep from falling in the sink though, and she doesn't let up, continuing to run her nails over his neck as she tries kissing him the way she'd started to learn from Sasuke -- just better.

He whined, lips parting under the assault but he didn't fight her at all, and the thought of trying to scoot them away from the sink was thoroughly put out of mind as she rubbed against him. Oh that simply wasn't fair.

She wasn't about to fight fair. After all, he'd said he liked her boldness, right? And she wasn't about to let him forget that about her, either, tongue darting through his parted lips in search of his own. Her nails scrape down his neck one more time before she leans back just enough to free space between their bodies, room for her hands to knead roughly at his chest even as she keeps her lower body pressed against his.

The hand at her back tightened, fanning out as he curled his fingers to press more securely at her through the cloth. She was dizzyingly warm, and after only a beat of hesitating, he tilted his head and returned the kiss with more intensity, meeting his tongue with her own as he let his eyes flutter half shut. But he wad definitely still watching her, arching subtly against her body.

She lets their tongues brush together with a hum of approval before pressing in even harder, slipping her tongue past his to explore the rest of his mouth. It's infinitely easier than last time now that there's only one person to focus her attention to, and her lips curve into another smirk as she starts to slowly grind her hips against his, those same small, slow circles she'd used against Sasuke.

His entire body gave a hard shudder at the sensation and he pressed back against her rocking, shamelessly letting her feel that she was making him hard with her attention. He didn't slack on the kiss either, sucking at her tongue with a low mewl as the fingers at her back slid down then back up again to be pressed against the skin of her back under the shirt.
