[OPEN] Weapons Exercise

Just because she was in a strange location didn't mean she was about to take a vacation... Especially not after being beaten so thoroughly by that Neji. The thought still was enough to freeze her blood, the slightest threads of panic starting to set in before her lip firms and she gathers her Chakra in her feet, leaping straight up into the air. For today's training, at least, she'd left the scroll leaning against one of the short wooden posts simulating a human body. Instead, a long katana shimmered in the late afternoon sunlight as she twists in midair, flipping over with a harsh kiai to split the log neatly in two, then turn, weaving her way through another weapon's form, twisting and pivoting as she fought enemies only she could see. Sweat dripped from her brow, the twin buns of her hair disheveled as she panted for breath, unwilling or unable to quit as she keeps pushing herself.

First that Sasuke, then Neji. She kept finding herself forced into situations where she couldn't fight at range. If she were ever going to advance, she needed to get past her current level. They were geniuses, but -- well, if Lee had proven anything, it was that hard work really could beat a genius.

The question would be if she could ever get to that point herself.

She already had her mouth open to answer him with 'practice' and snaps her mouth shut, giving him a frown as she stands there and lets him hold her wrist, staring down at the ground. "I don't know..."

He reached out with his other hand and ran his fingertips down her cheek. "I'd offer you dinner, but you really don't want me cooking for you."

In spite of herself, she snorts out a quiet laugh, closing her eyes and tilting her head into his hand. "Yeah, so you've said," she murmurs. A pause, then she gives him another glance, reaching up with one hand to just lightly brush her fingers over the back. "How good are you are alleviating muscle soreness, though?"

"I don't have a lot of practice, but I'm not bad at it." It was a murmur, and he ran his thumb over her cheek.

"My shoulders are tight. Well--" Shifting her scroll to let it rest on the ground, upright against her hip, she reaches behind to run her fingers along her shoulderblades, then around near her collarbone, neck, and down her arms. "Biceps, triceps, the... what's it called, this muscle here," she touches her fingers to her forearms, "All of that's pretty tight. Could you...?"

He inclined his head and reached to open his door. "Whatever you like Tenten. I'll see what I can do."

"Mm." She nods and picks her scroll back up, following him inside with only a moment's pause of hesitation. "Then I can train more."

He hummed, not denying her outright, though the look he shot her implied he wanted to. He looked around. "Where would you like me to do this?"

Resting her scroll beside the door, she casts an appraising glance around his house. "You've still got a futon, right? Or well... any flat surface, really."

"I do, but you almost didn't come inside." His voice was very low, and he headed off in the direction of the bedroom.

She just lets out a soft, disgruntled noise and follows, reaching to unbutton the clasps near her throat and shrug her shirt off unabashedly. She'd long since gotten past the point of being embarrassed to lack clothing around him, and right now, the shirt would only get in the way. Keeping the wrapping in place, she moves around him to lower herself to the futon, pillowing her head in her arms and exposing her back to him. "Are you upset with me?"

He padded over to her, studying her position before straddling her back, immediately sliding his hands to rub slow circles along her upper back. "Should I be?"

There are still bruises covering her back from when she'd slammed into that well from Neji, one's that hadn't been fully healed before she came her, but most of them were deep enough beneath the surface that they weren't visible. Her muscles are still tense and tight, as much from the stress of everything as from the unfamiliar strain of training so long with a single weapon. "No." It's a murmur, and it's clear from her voice that she expects him to disagree.

"Very well." It was an easy acquiescence, and he carefully pulled healing chakra into his hands. He could at least alleviate the worst of it as he started to apply proper pressure, feeding the chakra into his movements. He wouldn't be able to hold that part long, but it should at least make working over the bruises painless.

She lets out a pained grunt as her back spasms, the healing Chakra starting to forcibly repair the small tears in her muscles from training, her blood vessels momentarily widening as cells regenerate around the bruises. Her breath catches before her body starts to slowly relax, a quiet sigh escaping her lips as she stays silent for now.

He worked over the worst bruised areas before releasing the chakra and starting carefully down her arms, fingers deft and firm on her as he stayed focused.

His fingers are strong and warm, leaving her moaning quietly under his touch as she starts to relax further into the futon. It certainly wasn't anything like how Neji could coax her muscles to respond under his touch, but...

The thought of Neji leaves her closing her eyes, muscles trying to tense in spite of the attention. "You can go harder," she mutters finally, squeezing her eyes tightly shut and burying her face in her arms.

"I could, but you went and started tensing on me again." It was a murmur breathed directly into her ear as he leaned down, continuing to work on her, fingers sliding back up her arms.

She shivers when his breath is against her ear like that and casts him a glance, forcing herself to relax the best she could. Not wanting to lie about it, she just murmurs quietly, "Neji... used to do this for me. Not often, only when he started to complain that I was too stiff and it was interfering with his own training to have me below my normal skill, but..."

"And what could I do that would make you focus on -me- Tenten?" He kept the same low tone, kneading back over her shoulders as he shifted his weight across her lower back.

Shivering again, she arches her back and tries to roll over and face him, face flushing at the first answer that crossed her mind. "Well," she breathes, giving him a glance, "Something he's never done would be a start..."

He shifted up onto his knees to let her move, planting his hands on the covers. "Such as?"

Flush still darkening her cheeks, she reaches up with both arms to wrap gently around his neck, trying to tug him in as she leans up -- not for a kiss, but for a hug.

He could tell the difference by the way she held herself, and he shifted a little so he could wrap his arms around her comfortably, one hand resting at the back of her neck lightly.

She relaxes her weight, trusting him to hold her as she buries her nose in his shoulder and holds on tight. More than a little grateful that he'd read her intent correctly, she presses her lips to his neck for a small kiss and just holds on.
