There was nothing Sasuke loved more than festivals. It was a great excuse to have a good time, and to look at the ladies, or at least in his world. Here, he was saving his gazes up.

Today, he had resolved to draw Sakumo out, because really, the guy worked too hard, and how do you even build a relationship if you don't spend any time together? That was, he had to believe, his own fault for only ever bring him tea now and then and trying not to bother him too much... but it was not -bothering someone- if it was just reminding them they existed, right?

And so he showed up at the medic-nin's door, knocking and ready to pounce on him the moment it opened.
Alternatively, if he happened to be out, he had other options, but he would wish for nothing more than letting Sakumo relax today.

//open to anyone else, even if ambiguous :p

This boy was supposed to have a happy life. He had loving parents, siblings, a united family... but an accident with a genjutsu user twisted his life around.

There were some areas of the village that he had never stepped in. The northern border were many of his family's housings were, was the most proeminent place he forever avoided. To him, the whole area was burned down chunks of buildings and eradicated lives. He was convinced everyone died in a fire and that he had been left alone.

Even his parents and relatives were people unknown. Even if they had presented themselves, he never acknowledged them as such... and they had never been able to keep him home when they brought him. The boy had been constantly screaming in terror, so much that they finally had to give hima small place to live in. They did come by to help him, or give him food, but for him, they weren,t those he knew.
His life was one mass of contradiction, and even if for the briefest of moments, recognition might flash upon his features, the genjutsu was solidly in place, and it remained but an instant.

The people of Michi merely had pity when they looked upon him, and even the small jobs they gave him to do to earn money were out of such feelings.
Still, to him, this was reality, and they were being nice and helpful. This was his life, and he was oblivious to his own sad story.

Today, he was strolling around town, on his way back home after having finished helping out laying down the day's groceries outside the shop. It was worth it, he thought, since they had given him a tomato to munch on.

Headed back from his almost daily work at the flowershop, smelling like oils and tea and flower and not minding one bit if anyone thought that scent to be 'effeminate', he came to a temporary halt in front of a shop, gazing at his reflection in a mirror.

Why, hey there, Ace of Hearts~
No, his ego is not the center of a galaxy.

Things could not go any better. He had a great job, was kept fairly amused with gossip, had parents he did not feel like he wanted to be estranged from, and... very very hot versions of his brother and of himself.

To top off this wonderful situation? His custom-made glasses had arrived, in all their mighty rectangular-shaped, red-tinted glory! He donned them and adjusted them with an index.

...and all female employees swooned.

"Oho~ Better work than I expected~" and since, well, no one was around to take his money, he left the ryo under the desk with a thank you note and hearts dawn on them before heading outside.

"Careful with that. Here, grip it right there, see the frame makes it easier to carry~" the taller teen had stopped halfway through to coach his younger self on how to properly carry a paper lantern. Really, if he wanted the object to last the trip whole, it had to be done
"Can we stop to get roasted corn?" of course, the boy was eyeing all the stalls.

"Not yet. Don't you have your hands full already, huh?" the taller sasuke was mostly amused by the smaller one. "Oh, Hold it right there~" he stopped and shook his head. "You got distracted again huh?"
"Distracted?" the younger boy blinked. "I didn't."

"Then what's that, hmm?" he handed him a small paper crane he ahd picked up from the ground and tried not to laugh as the youth paled slightly. His expression was priceless. Poor thing, he was so endearing when looking guilty.
"C-can you... put it back? I promise I'm not gonna let it fall again!"

There was a light chuckle and he placed the small paper bird along where three other colorful cohorts were nestled in the boy's hair. Oh, he -would- remind him about that chakra exercise daily now if he could! "There you go~" he made sure his other self had it secured properly before retrieving his hand.

Eventually they made it to the stream, and the boy was handed a match to light the small candle inside his lantern. The smallest Sasuke did not trust his control to such an extent, and the older one knew that it would be wrong of him to even suggest it.
"...aren't you sending yours off?" the boy asked, looking over to his other self.
"Nah. I'll do that later. The evening's still young, yeah? Here... open your hand~"

The youth's eyes went wide as he was given some ryo. "...for me?"
"You wanted some of that corn earlier. Plus, you did say you wanted to go get niisan and make lanterns with him too, huh? you'll need energy to run back home." hea reached down to ruffle that hair. "Run along now~"
It didn't take more for the boy to give a happy cheer and rush off.

The teen stretched his free arm, usual jewelry shimmering with the neaby shifting water, and as graceful as a feline, jumped up a large rock overlooking the stream, his dark blue yukata littered with small Uchiha clan symbols clinging loosely against him. Beside him, he still had his unlit lantern, gazing at the ones headed downstream.
Spring... for some reaon, he couldn't help but be reminded of Kakashi-sensei always telling them about the springtime of youth...

Ladies and gentle--- no, just the ladies. Prepare to be gifted with the most wondrous of days, the most unforgettable few minutes of your lives!

Yes, Sasuke, one of the last two surviving members of the most prestigious -yes well as prestigious as a nearly wiped up clan is, look the history books!- Uchiha clan is out for another of his intense walks around Konoha, upon which he will do as always, do what he does best at least when he is not on missions, that is:

---uh, whoa, wait a second...

What is with the dust cloud, and the sudden change of environment? Dark eyes are slightly wide, although the new environment appears unthreatening, so he is yet quite unguarded... because there -is- some nice womanly smell nearby...
